Lady Rams get easy win. All 13 girls got to play and i think at least 8 scored. Rams didnt play their starters in the 4th quarter. Compton and Vanderhoof led the way with 13 each, with Lewis following with 12. Game was never in doubt. Good job ladies.

I said Rams would have a chance if they protected the ball. They didnt, and got blown out. Mighty Elliott will be beaten when they come up against a team with good ball handling skills. Whether anybody in the 16th has it, I dont know. Should be Elliotts region this year. Just don't get so cocky. It makes everyone else enjoy it when or if Elliott loses.

It seems everyone thinks Elliott is SO good, why play the games? If Raceland protects the ball, they WILL play with Elliott. I won't be surprised if the Rams pull out a win.

Rams came out running in the second half for the win. Game was 32-30 at half. Rowan's big man is very good. When he got the ball, he put it in the basket. They need to get it to him more. Raceland's Boyles was on fire. Sparks had good game, but was in foul trouble . All the Rams players played hard and contributed tonight.

I was at the game. The fouls were probably almost 2 to 1 called in Fairviews favor. IMO, fairview needs to use their big guy a little more. Hall and Collins both really like to shoot , but are pretty good at it.

No way they just win 3 games. They are in a very weak district. Russell will win at least 8 games.

How far was the FG?

Wow, didnt know that. Only 6 wins, and 2 of those were last year.

Im a Raceland fan, but they've been hurt by the pass the last couple of weeks. Russell and West both used the pass to beat the Rams. If Raceland doesnt start playing better fundamentally, they may as well get ready for basketball. Get up and smash Fairviews' running game. Also, I think Raceland should take advantage of how Fairview always trys to jump the passing routes. Double move plays should reap huge gains for the Rams.

With 2 D-1 players on their roster, i would think Rose Hill will be very good.

I think Russell wins it all again.

Raceland battled the whole game. Turnovers and penalties killed them. Red Devils are very good defensively and took it to Raceland. I dont understand why Raceland tried running out of the shotgun formation. I dont remember 1 good run from that formation. Rams have no reason to hold their heads down, they were far from dominated by the bigger school.

Heavy rains are expected on Friday (according to WSAZ) , so i think this works in Russell's favor. If the rain keeps Mason from going airborne, Devils win.

Im a Raceland fan and i think Fairview would beat Ashland. Ashland should be no higher than 7th . (at best)

Great game. 31 yarder . I think Russell should had kicked it deeper after their FG. Simon Kenton show Russell's weakness. Passing on the outer edges.

If there is that much talent on this team, then there is no excuse if they dont go undefeated in the region and go to state. If they cant do that, they are not D1 material.

Being sarcastic. Where have i been critical of Raceland? It was a remark because Ashland came up the poll after beating Boyd. Why dont you relax.

Ashlands wins easily and climbs to #3 in the Independents' super 7 poll. :laugh:

I thought the opposite. After losing so many from last season, I was thinking 4 or 5 wins this season. After Ashland, I was like ,maybe I'm wrong. But now, losing to East (by getting ran all over- 317 Yds) and seeing that Ashland is horrible, Rams may only get 5 wins. Hope I'm wrong.

Ramc better work on that run defense. Dont know how many East got, but Ashland was around 300 on the ground. Was afraid Raceland would be weak against the run this season.

I may be wrong, but I'll say Tomcats by 2 TD's.
