How many did Fairview shoot? I watched them 4 times this year and they have a guard that seems to get a lot of calls his way.:sssh:

Game was never in doubt. Rams jumped out early and never looked back. Balanced scoring ,as nearly everyone scored. Greenup likes to run and shoot 3's.

Vanderhoof was hitting 3's and when Raceland missed, Keeton and Lewis was cleaning it up. Raceland's bigs dominated inside.

Wow, the best 2 "A" teams in the region open against each other. Is this a draw?

Rams get the win although they didnt play well. Dont know what they shot from the line, but it had to be low. Lewis is a gritty team and never quit. Rams looked a little tired.

Did Russell have some players quit?

If Elliott wants to make some noise at Rupp this year, they better get their bench some playing time. Blowing people out with your starters may be fun, but building a bench for state is needed. Averaging 90 points a game against lesser talented teams in this region is nothing if they dont make some noise at state.

Ive seen Fairview play 3 times. They get good play from the 2 guards , but i dont see them as a threat to Elliott. They spread you out and let the guards try to take you off the dribble. If you back off, they shoot the 3 on you.

Raceland has the talent to beat East. East wasnt that impressive to me. The stripes also had Racelands main players in foul trouble early in the game. So dont pretend like they kept Raceland in the game. East had no answer for Boyles. East took the lead while Sparks was out in foul trouble.

And some of Raceland's misses were the front end of the bonus. You have to make free throws to beat a good team. I look for east to win the tourney.

BAD free throw shooting.

Rams killed themselves at the free throw line. The few times they got there , they didnt shoot them well.

Rams get another win in the Classic. Tyler(the thief) Boyles had another half dozen or so steals. Rams get ready for East Carter tomorrow.

Rams started quick and never looked back. Boyles had numerous steals and conversions. Everybody played for Rams. I dont think starters even played in the 4th quarter.

Thats the key to full court pressure. If refs let it happen, the pressing team will kill you.

Like what? Rowan is the one that plays a thugging press. If refs call all the holding and pushing that Rowan does on their press tonight, Rams win.

Didnt Whitney Seals also score over 1000?

Lady Rams cruise. Was up nearly 40 when the starters were brought out about half way into the third. Vanderhoof with , i think , 24. Wilson was hitting 3's and Lewis was scoring at will in the paint. Keeton played a little tonight, but it looked like she reinjured herself. Hopefully it's not serious.

I think Floyd will be a great coach. The boys have always liked playing for him. Wish he had taken over a few years ago.

They must had owed Bath. Scoring over 100. Did the starters play the whole game? Elliott is good , but is their bench so strong that they put up a lot of points.

Take 2 of your starters off your team and see how good they are. Hopefully Raceland and Elliott get to play with Raceland full strength.
