Final.

Congrats to the Rams.

Nice effort by the Rams as they jumped out to an 18-4 1st qtr. run and never looked back.

Free throw shooting and rebounding was a big factor for the Rams.

Rams had a balanced scoring attack led by Tyler Boyles 19 Jacob Sparks & Peyton Martin with 11 and Cody Barker added 9.

Rebounding:

Raceland 37 Russell 28

TO's: Russell 17 Raceland 10

Casey Stapleton continued to impress as he led the Devils in scoring with 16 pts. and was named the Player Of The Game.

Was a nice game for both teams.

Congrats to the Rams on the win! :ylsuper:

Raceland had lost 3 consecutive games and 4 of the last 6. Raceland needed a win like this to hopefully get them back on track, this win puts them at 8-6 on the season. From the way it sounded on the radio broadcast (and this wlgc crew does a very good job) was that Raceland pretty much dominated to boards and won the turnover battle. Raceland shot 42% from the field and 78% from the line.

I think that Raceland's Coach Floyd got the chance to play a lot of people (j.v. and fresh.) tonight. This will pay off and be good experience for them.

Also congrats to the Red Devil's C. Stapleton on his game tonight :thumb:, he is going to be a good one.

Raceland's top 7 played until about 2:30 left in the 4th when the subs came in. However, they did get a chance to play a lot, in the JV game.

This was a good effort by the young Devils. After starting off slow and getting down by 16 early they played pretty well the rest of the game.:thumb:

^ The Raceland reserves playing a lot was a comment by the radio crew. :thumb:

Did Russell have some players quit?
