no stats, but it was a great game. Very close 25-24 at the half. Very physical game and much more close than the final score shows. The Lady Vikings got a lot more than they bargained for in Raceland tonight. I believe the Lady Rams are showing just starting to gel with the return of the injured Brooke Keeton. When Jesse Clark returns after the new year, the Lady Rams will only continue to improve. Go Lady Rams!

Another tough loss for the "Ramblerette's" but I have to agree with Incognito in that this team will be a factor once they get everyone back. The kids that are seeing playing time now in their absence will only give them more experience and confidence make the team stronger come tournament time. Coach Bob Trimble will have the Lady Rams ready to go.

Not really...nobody underestimated them. A good, big, physical team. If their big people are allowed to play like that, they'll be a tuff game for anybody.

Welcome to the 16th region. Everyone knows that the 16th region refs let the girls play. When developing your team you must be ready for this. Its been like this at least the last 2 years (I wouldn't know before then). Blame it on the refs, but a loss is still a loss.

 

On a brighter note, it sounds like the Lady Rams took the best team in the region to the wire last night. Definitely something that the Lady Rams can build on. When Raceland gets healthy they could be a factor in the region come March.

 

Also a nice win for Rowan-a road win against a good opponent is always a nice victory.
