I think Dirk said on the radio Shelby Valley went to state last year out of the 15th .Maybe someone can tell us more.

Young team, but imo there the best team in the 15th.

They played OBI on Fri. The game was a lot closer than what the score was. OBI was down 10 with 5 to go. JUst ran out of gas.

Shelby Valley is still a relatively young team, playing 5 sophomores, 2 juniors, and 2 seniors. SV isn't a physically dominant team, but uses good ball movement to create most of their offense. SV has made it to the state tournament 4 of the last 6 years but has yet to win a game at state. Last year they were defeated by Elliott County.

All 5 startrs back from last year, and their 6th man off the bench. Looks like a very tough game for Ashland. SV by 8
