Anyone able to see the last shot of the game for Boyd, the announcers said it was clearly a foul, but you know how announcers get.

 

I guess the score should surprise some since they said Boyd was one of the worst teams in the Region.

Yeah, that is a way to beat yourselves. Keep in mind the announcers stated Boyd was fouled on the last play for sure, but also stated that Selby walked right before that at Halfcourt, so equalled out I guess.:thumb:

 

Boyd will improve as the season goes on and could possibly knock somebody out in their District. Fairview is a very solid team and will also represent well.

It will be an interesting District Tourney.

As all coach's will tell you, a guard is more likely to get fouled when he drives to the basket then he would if he just shoots jump shots...this should also be pretty easy for a basketball fan like yourself to figure out as well.

 

According to the paper, Fairview had more fouls called on them then Boyd did. Maybe that's because Fairview fouled the most. Fairview also shot less free-throws then Boyd.

Fairview hit their FT's 15-17 that was the game, and Brent Jackson coming through with those big 3's at the end

Fact is if Boyd shoots 50% from the line they win in regulation.(gotta makem).

Fairview got most of their fouls at the end of the 4th and 2 ot when they needed to foul to get back in the game. Hats off to the Wiz it worked.

I was glad to see REX not run baseline to baseline tonight....He actually stayed contained in his coaching lines!!!!
