Not only questionable, an outright terrible call. Phillips threw that pitch right down the middle. If its called a strike, Raceland maybe wins in regulation.

Cool, it was posted same time I asked.

All tourney team?

Maybe it is the gym. Every game there was sloppy.

To be fair, Raceland got the 6th player off the floor before the free throw. Keeton jumped out of bounds before the free throw. Th e bath girl thought it was 2 shots and tossed the miss out of bounds to the ref. Officiating was not so great. Vanderhoof was standing near the sideline with the ball and a bath girl comes up and pushes her out of bounds. Clearly a foul, no call.

Reynolds for Raceland will surprise people too.

Congrats to Rams and Floyd. rams cranked it up and was never really in doubt. What was up with the young ref? He was calling a foul on Sparks every time he tried anything.

Great job ladies. Teamwork. Raceland even handled the press nicely. These girls really pick each other up. Nice job!!!!

Hard hits must the theme of the night. Lots of contact in the Raceland/Lewis game too.

Will be a good game. If Vanderhoof was 100 %, I think Raceland wins . But , not at 100, I think its a toss up. I still pick Rams, but in a close one.

Raceland should win it. They need to win district to hopefully avoid an early matchup with Elliott in regionals.

I actually forgot about him in that thread. He usually doesnt put up big numbers. My bad. I apologize for the slip. He was the difference tonight. Probably plays harder defense then anyone on the team. Sorry K.C., didnt mean to disrespect you, really was an oversight.

Lady Rams get a nice win. Brooke Wilson and Brooke Keeton scored big tonight. Wilson was hitting 3's and Keeton dominated inside. Vanderhoof played in spurts and probably had around 10-15 points. Lady Rams clamped down on defense and advance.

Rams get a strong from Nichols and get the win. Very rough game. Officials really let them play. Good team effort tonight Rams.

Against a zone, the best Ram 5 would be; Martin,Boyles,Barker,Keeton, and Sparks. I'd play these 5 and sub as little as possible. Maybe only use Tolliver off the bench.

Raceland 2007: 20-13 ; lost in district opener 2006: 25-10(best record in school history); lost in regional finals 2005: 14-14 ; lost in district opener 2004: 17-16 ; lost in district opener 2003: 6-11 : lost in regionals 2002: 7-13 ; won districts, lost in regionals the 06 and 07 teams consisted of players that played AABC together and won state as 10 yr olds and again as 12's. That was when Racelands AABC was at its strongest. Had 4 teams with coaches who put in a lot of time and effort. Lacks, Morris, Miller , and Darby were the coaches.

Yes.

Lewis may not get them all in college, but he'll help. My son played at Raceland, the Raceland coaches didnt make the time to help him. Lewis called the Shawnee coach and got my son a try out. He made the team. It was Lewis who helped him, not his high school coach.

Have you seen Boyles hit? Carver is the best hitter Raceland has. Lead Martin off. Boyles and Keeton strike out way too much.

I do know that Raceland used Grizzle,N.Reynolds,Phillips, and Morris as their pitchers the last 4 years. I know because my son was playing and I didnt miss a game. Wilson and S. Reynolds will have to carry the load this year. Hitting wont be as strong as the past few years there.

Rams better buckle down and make their free throws. The key will be , having the players on the court that can shoot them.

Im a Raceland fan, and I actually think East will be top dog this year. Raceland will have a couple of nice pitcher in Wilson and Reynolds, but I think their hitting will be down a little. Carver and Martin are both good hitters, but after them I dont know.

Raceland really missed Boyles. Boyd packed a zone most of the night. Raceland shot terrible. Free throws may cost Raceland in district. Once again awful. Better get to working on it or it will be a short stay in districts.

Elliot 100+ Russell maybe 45

Didnt Scottie Pippen play at Virginia Union?
