Isn't that the guy you didn't think should play? I sure wish coach Floyd would have agreed with you he only had 22 points tonight.

I thought both teams played good team ball. I thought the officiating was good for the most part. The difference was Raceland made their free throws were as Lewis Co. didnt. Not sure on any numbers, but it didnt seem like many free throws were taken. Best of luck to the Rams in the district final and the regional tourney.

 

And to my Lewis Co. boys. You gave a great effort and played very hard but just didnt take care of the ball late in the game. The 8 seniors (well, one was out half the season but remained on the team) will be missed and we want to wish them the best of luck. You were entertaining to watch in your 4 years and have many good memories to take with you.

I actually forgot about him in that thread. He usually doesnt put up big numbers. My bad. I apologize for the slip. He was the difference tonight. Probably plays harder defense then anyone on the team. Sorry K.C., didnt mean to disrespect you, really was an oversight.

Glad to see someone step up tonight when we had to have someone do it the most. A couple of guys not at 100% at all. That is why I have said that these Rams are "Team" in every way. :ylsuper:

 

Again, great job Rams and Coach Floyd against a Lewis team that is always tough come tournament time.

Nichols scores game-high 23 points, keys late Raceland run

LLOYD — Raceland survived for a 55-51 win over Lewis County on Tuesday in the boys 63rd District Tournament at Greenup County High School.

 

Neither team led by more than four in the first half and the biggest lead of the game came late in the fourth quarter when Raceland’s K.C. Nichols scored six straight points (four from the foul) to put the Rams up by seven, 53-46.

I didn't understand the "T" on Coach Floyd as everyone knows "The Boss" is an avid lip reader an all coach told the referee was the last time he was at his establishment his coffee was cold and he would like a store voucher, he never ask for his money back or anything and Tim gave him a technical, so coach took his coat off and said " Tim it was so cold I had to wear a jacket to drink it " man some people are so sensitive when it comes to java.

KC Nichols refused to allow the Rams to lose. Great leadership from Mr. Nichols.
