Congrats to the Royals :thumb:

They advance to the 64th championship for the first time in 5 years.

Rose Hill will play the winner of Fairview/Ashland, Friday night at 7:30pm at Boyd Co gym.

Thanks for the updates and the final score. I am out of town this week and could not make the game. Hopefully someone will post the stats. Congratulations to the Royals.

Congrats to Rose Hill on the win, good luck in the finals.

Great job Royals you guys were the better team out there even though the refs tryed to keep it interesting.

Congratulations to the Royals. I haven't been around this region long, but I have quickly discovered that Mr. Billman is the poorest official I've seen in this region. And I'm not simply stating one way or another. Just poor. Absolute hatchets, skin slapping tomohawks and no call. Kid rises to block a shot, no contact, foul. Miserable I say.

But I would like to congratulate the Boyd seniors hanging tough through a difficult campaign.

Royals came out with the #1 seed intact. Looked like heavyweight champ tonight. I thought the pressure would get to Boyd, and it did.

Good luck to the Royals and Mr. Fraley on Friday.

Only in America, baby!

Anyone who has seen either of the previous meetings betwenn these two teams could have seen this one coming. If Rose Hill get this kind of production from the supporting cast then they will be very difficult to beat. Excellent performances from Arthur, Bush, Barber, and Gambill. I think they combined to shot about 80% with Barber and Gambill hitting 5 3's.

I think Gambill's sister has been working with him on his shot.:D

Congrats to Rose Hill!!!!1

Congrats Coach Fraley from one of your former's at the GreenHouse

This was a solid all around performance for the boys from the Hill. There's no doubt that Euton and Jackson are the big dogs, but it's clear that RH is far from being two dimensional offensively.

I do not have stats for Boyd Co. and only have point totals for Rose Hill:

Jackson 16

Euton 14

Barber 13

Gambill 7

Arthur 6

J. Bush 6

Quackenbush 4

Davis 3

K. Bush 2

Malloy 1

Hats off to Boyd seniors Selby, Chaney, Crisp, Mayhew and Nickoson on a great run over the past few seasons. :thumb:

Balanced scoring by the Royals. They will need the scoring from other players besides Euton and Jackson going into Region play.

Good night for the Royals in a very physical battle with Boyd Co. Some of the hardest hits I've seen since football season. I thought heard an arm snap on one of the plays, but thankfully no one got hurt. I tell you what, #3 Chaney was flat filling it up at the end of the game for Boyd. Maybe should have let him shoot the ball every once in a while. Great game as a team for Rose Hill. Arthur, Bush, Gambill and Barber were on fire. They've really gained confidence over the season.

I didn't see this game or anything, but I will add another vote that the aforementioned referee is terrible!

I failed to mention how much I will miss Selby. I was a classmate of his fathers for 11 years, and no that wasn't just high school:D, and I know proud he is of Justin. When you think about how big he is and how well he moves it is just mind boggling. If he is interested some college should look at him for the offensive line he would be an athletic freak on the oline.

Hard hits must the theme of the night. Lots of contact in the Raceland/Lewis game too.

Congrats Royals on the win tonight!!!:thumb: Good luck on Friday in the finals!!!:thumb:
