It's played at Whitley Co. The team Greenup is playing is North Laurel.

I know nothing bout N. Laurel but I do know that this GCHS team is very good. Good luck to the Musketeers!! I hope you win it all.:thumb:

Ashland played N. Laurel in Florida this year and beat them. Now you have to remember this was early early in the season and who knows how much N. Laurel has improved but thats the only thing I know about them.

Good luck Greenup

I don't know much about Greenup except that they are a very solid team from what the coaches say. I think it goes 3 games and while Greenup will probably be the favorite, North Laurel has improved a ton since the early season, especially on defense where they have cut the errors way down. If they can ride the emotion of their first ever regional title, the Jags can win. I will be a homer and pick North in a full 3 game series.

What kind of pitching will each team have?

I will say Greenup Co. in 2. I believe they have a pretty solid 1-2 punch on the mound.

Does anyone know the starting times for the games?

North will probably pitch Sean Evans and Nick Shannon in the first 2 games with Ryan Evans ready to relieve or pitch game 3. Sean and Nick are pitching the best they have all season right now and Ryan has been a very pleasant surprise. Don't be surprised to see 8th grader Johnny Damron who pitched exceptionally well in the final 2 & 1/2 innings of the Middlesboro game and shut the door. He showed amazing poise for an 8th grader. Never looked rattled at all. The Jags also have Chris Maggard who can pretty much play anywhere he is needed.
