  1. where do you click on the page to hear it?
  2. Russell - 35 Ashland- 20
  3. Belfry 28 Ashland 7
  4. Nice win, but I also think the fire trucks shouldn't be used until Raceland does something in the playoffs. According to the football preveiw, the Rams only have 4 playoff wins all time.
  5. 49-18................Russell wins
  6. Raceland's defense came out amd played hard nosed smash mouth football. They have some hard hitting LB's.
  7. Great job by the Rams. I wish the community would come out and watch all Raceland sports like they do football.
  8. Who had a better 2006 season Raceland or Russell... Raceland players and Russell players played summer baseball with each other. And they had a friendly discussion on which team had a better season. Raceland was 25-10 and advanced to the Regional Final... Russell was 25-12 and won the 63rd district title.....Everyone please help solve the dispute
  9. Hmmm, I was told that Raceland has someone else teaching drivers ed and P.E. These were classes that their basketball coach taught.
  10. Ashland wins 11-9. Justin Potter pitched a great game . Ashland holds on in the 9th, after entering it with a 11-4 lead. Shelbyville never quit.
  11. Josh Miller ( Raceland) - Shawnee State Raceland sends 4 players to the next level after their 25 win season.
  12. Thats true on bunts. But that is the MLB rule on sac flys. Most scorers give the sac on a bunt , although there are some batters with the speed that are really trying for a hit.
  13. Nathan Reynolds (Raceland)- Berea
  14. While it's good and right to move a runner, A batter should not be given a sac for moving a runner to third unless he bunts (giving his at bat up to do so). A fly or ground out moving a runner is not a sac.
  15. I think I know what is a sac in baseball. I believe you can only get a sac for a bunt to move a runner or a fly that scores a run. Am I right? Someone tried to tell me you get a sac if a run scores on a groundout or if a runner moves from 2nd to 3rd on a fly. I'm pretty sure I'm right.
  16. Scott is a good QB. But I really think his future is brighter in baseball. A lefty that can throw hard, as i think he will be, is always looked for in baseball. There's not a big need for a 6'1" QB. With offensive lines getting taller, bigger QB's are needed. He will have a very nice football season this year, but I look for a great baseball season coming up.
  17. It would also be unearned. The team should had been out of the inning. No earned runs .
  18. Kory Darby - C (Raceland) - Pikeville.
  19. He's not even a senior. He's also not even the best catcher in the region. Darby is.
  20. In 25 games. I'd say 30 is good. Also depends where you hit in the lineup. The 1 and 2 hitters probably won't get many.
  21. 16th region will do it again. Good job.
  22. Looks like Raceland got the shaft in softball too. I wont say anything except great job lady Rams. I mention about the umps in the baseball thread and everyone says its sour grapes. But, it is sour when it happens to you.
  23. Umps were bad both ways. But the calls killed Raceland in the 6th. The tying run was walked in. Gatrell said it was a strike. Bowling said he was out at second on the steal play. I take nothing away from Boyd's players. These umps are to blame. The one at second just needs to retire. He never gets in postion to make the right call. As bad as everyone says the 15th region umps are, I wish officials were used from other regions for regional tourneys.
  24. Umpires should let the players determine the outcome. I do give congrats to Boyd's players. They are a good group of kids.
