Beach will be missed but the Rams have other capable players to get the job done as Ingognito has stated. They play team football and have more depth than our teams in the past.

I think that Raceland will be o.k. vs. Rowan w/o Beach, at Raceland no one man makes a TEAM. I hope that the Rams can get off the cloud that they are on get focused on Rowan. Imo Rowan with coach Baldridge there now will be improved. I saw them last year and they seemed to have some pretty good athletes. Raceland just may have their hands full with them. I am going to stay with my personal restraint from making any predictions on Raceland games. Just a superstiton with me.:eek: :lol: It worked this past week in not making a Raceland/Ashland prediction so I will stay with it.

I think the Rams will be focused. It is my understanding that the locker room post game speech by coach Hoof was about enjoying the victory until Monday and then it was time to prepare for game #2.

An interesting battle of two teams that few expected to be 1-0.

I think I'll take Raceland in this one. Rowan County appeared to get alot of

breaks in terms of turnovers last week. (Whether those were because of

the defense I do not know.) Even though Raceland didn't get as many breaks

they beat a somewhat lost Ashland team. With that being said, as we saw

from last week, the favorite certainly isn't the team that always wins.

I think Raceland might be able to pull out a victory over Rowan at this stage in the season, but I don't think it will be a laugher. If Raceland was that explosive, they would've beaten Ashland by more than 5 points.

I think that you may be underestimating Ashland, they have a pretty good team and are coached very well.

Don't underestimate Rowan, they will be pumped up riding momentum from the rivalry win vs. Morgan last week. I'm still picking Raceland in a close one.
