Raceland /Rowan Co. Predictions

Featured Replies

I think that you may be underestimating Ashland, they have a pretty good team and are coached very well.

I was going by the quotes in the other thread that said that Ashland was headed for a horrendous season and that they were horrible this year. I don't really know myself how good they are yet.

Don't underestimate Rowan, they will be pumped up riding momentum from the rivalry win vs. Morgan last week. I'm still picking Raceland in a close one.

I agree Bravesfan, (excepr for your avatar):D The Rams will have to be focused and execute their game plan as Rowan will show up expecting to win.

I was impressed with #5 last week. Mullins maybe? I look for him to step up this week.

Mullins is very capable of being a difference maker in a ballgame. He has been nursing some injuries but is now well.

I think Raceland might be able to pull out a victory over Rowan at this stage in the season, but I don't think it will be a laugher. If Raceland was that explosive, they would've beaten Ashland by more than 5 points.

Ashland is a better football team than what is being written. It is just a matter of them being able to come together as a unit. Though we got the "W" Raceland made several mistakes that I know the coaching staff were not happy with and will work to correct those beginning Monday. The 5 point margin has nothing to do with being explosive, the Ashland defense made that happen.

ASshland may not have a powerhouse AAA team like they are used to but they are still a good football team. I think by the end of the year the Tomcats will be right there to make a run in their playoffs. Ashland is Ashland, they are always good. Lets go Ramblers, the Ashland game is in the past now and it is time to focus on Rowan Co. coming into "Ram Stadium" for the home opener.

May I have your attention please!!! The Vikings have boarded the ship!!!

That is the funny right there.

I heard this by rumor that Beach has made an effort to apologize to his teammates and to support them in everyway Friday. I also heard that his ankle had been twisted that night which prompted him to do that. Of course only rumor. If this is found to be the case, "Could he now play?" I am taking Raceland to win. Passed by the weight room today and they were hard at work.
