Grizzle gets back on track.

Defense becomes a little to over confident for the shutout.

Welcome to BGP Aries. Godd to have a few more "Orange Crush" fans on board. A little warning though, be careful of the firetrucks on Friday nights:lol:

Dont worry about me. I am not afraid of the fire trucks, as I have been apart of couple of great rides home from Putnam and a couple of bad ones as well!

IMO the firetrucks did more for the community and younger kids than it did for the team anyway!

The score from last nights JV game Raceland vs Ashland was

Rams 6 Ashland 16 Final.

I did think there was one more touchdown. I will check my facts better next time. Did a touchdown come back because of penalty?

That's the whole purpose and the kids enjoy the attention.

:thumb: :thumb: Welcome to bgp, it seems that we have a few new "RamPride" members on here. That is great - I look foward to your post.

Yes I believe there was!!

Just a couple more days until the Rams tee it up again and I want to wish them luck. Play each down as if it were your last!! Play the next play. Play with the emotion of the Ram Pride that has been instilled in you by your coaches. Represent yourself with Character and Sportsmanship. May each player be injury free.

Good Luck Rams!!! BEAT Vikings.:dancingpa

:thumb: :thumb: I agree cville, if I could add anything it would be to tell the Ram players that last week was just that......last week. A big win over a good opponet last week will not get you an automatic win this week. Play hard, hit hard and keep your head about you and focused on THIS game. Last week is gone, next week is not here yet.

I think Cville should start doing the prayers before the game.

I am sure the Rams would appreciate Cville's prayers. They could use everyones prayers for the entire season.

I'll vote for that :thumb: . Hey cville, the church of the "Orange Crush" has spoken. You are elected brother. Incognito I think you would do well in taking up the offering.:D and I would sing the "On,On, Raceland High Hymm" but that would run everyone out. It's getting deep around here , I can tell everyone is tired and bored this evening. Can I get an Amen from the crowd??? ............Thats it, I am too tired and I am outta here. GO RAMBLERS!!!!

I understand the Beach situation to be as it was stated here and yes he needs to be more disciplined. But in the East Carter-Greenup Co. game an East player took the GC QB out of bounds and tossed him over a fence like a WWF match. A bit of a rumble insued and noone was tossed. With a former Tomcat the lead official at the Ashland game Friday it is only fitting to question the possible quick trigger on the ejection. If you wish to see the video of the East-GC incident follow the link here and click on the play button and watch. It's excellent video. You tell me which deserves ejection more, a kick when someone is twisting your leg or tossing a guy over the fence.

The head referee did not throw the flag. The wing official is the one who flagged the infraction. Just because the head referee signals the ejection does not mean he's the one who tossed him. Granted he normally has the final say, if he trust his fellow officials he will listen to what they say. I saw the GC/EC situation you are refering to and from what I saw on the video, it looked as though he never let up and drove out over the fence. WOW!! What was the penalty called? I've heard they gave both schools a personal foul. Was it a personal foul or was it an unsportsmanlike penalty? Maybe the officials saw something I didn't but it looked like a no-brainer.....Ejection. Like I said, I just saw it on video and it's different than seeing it live.

I think Cville should start doing the prayers before the game.

After reading my previous post it sounds as if I already did. I did get a bit carried away there, didn't I ? Football season has a tendency to do me that way!!
