Is seems the Ram fans are all coming out of the woodwork??? Glad to see the support- hope it continues through "thick and thin"!!!

Good to here. Any injuries??

I saw Rowan scrimmage this yr. and I can tell you that they are not the same team we are used to seeing the last several yrs. They are alot better coached and will make improvements each wk. I'm pulling for the Rams in this one, but don't be surprised if it is a sqeaker.

I have been saying that all along, Baldridge will make a difference......a BIG difference and they had some kids when I saw them last year that looked pretty good. IMO this may be tougher than what a lot of people think.

I not only would buy his ticket but take him to the concession stand. He has to sing it all the way through. I am sure Mr. Farley would hand over the microphone for that.

This is a very tempting offer oldram(and cville) but I am afraid that I would steal Mr. Farley's glory. He does seem to enjoy his position up there in the booth. I just might upstage him so I will decline for now. I thank you for the vote of confidence though   but I wouldn't want to run the crowd away by my singing. I feel that after cvilles prayer and sermon that everyone will be too emotionally strained anyway.

:thumb: :thumb: I agree WVA but if they are a TRUE Ram fan they will be there through the good and bad and for the entire game no matter what. :flame: Welcome to all new bgp members of the Ram family.

"Orange Crush" This reminds me that the 1996 undefeated team will be having a 10 year reunion before the game in the old gym Lobby. This is before the Rowan Co. Game this Friday.

I belive that you are right in that is what they nicknamed the defense on that team, I remember the 96' team well. Through the years the Raceland defense has had a few different nicknames, I think that for a few years they were called "bad company", that may had been one of those years when Randy Vanderhoof played, one year (I don't remember which one) I am pretty sure they went the first 6 weeks of the season without anyone scoring on them. Anyway, welcome to the site TO- :thumb: 1 post is as new as you can get. It is great to see all the new member Rams on bgp!

We have always had great fan support. The reason for the new fan base is that we traded 2 firetrucks for 200 new computers so everyone could join BGP. I hope you are right though about through "thick and thin".

That "Orange Crush" brings back memories. We have a long way to go though before that label goes on again. The reunion is a great thing. I hope everyone comes out and has a great time.

I was going by the quotes in the other thread that said that Ashland was headed for a horrendous season and that they were horrible this year. I don't really know myself how good they are yet.

Don't you know over there when they lose one the sky is falling?!!

C'mon Wireman, you know how the basketball thread went last season, you know, hang the coach, etc.

You are corect in that one cville, The Rams defense has improved a lot over the last few years I believe but imo it is not close to some of the defenses the Rams threw out there against people in the past.

I have kind of noticed that trend!
