  1. I just read in the paper that Fairview players took the F's off of their helmets. That's seems unbelievable to me. There is no way that you could have taken my teams logo off of my helmet! As a fan, this is unacceptable!!!
  2. the principal was making the decision and in the meeting. You don't hear that part. What ever decisions were made by her on other issues does not mean she was wrong about this. Too many personal agendas. That is what this is about. Great decision regarding the football coach. Also good man does't equal good coach and what Is the best for football kids. It Equals good old boy system. Watch out for GRC in 2012! Great Head coach in place now. Her grandson is a teen, current player, and classless that a kid is thrown in the middle of this thing IMO.
  3. i also know a close source and the facts are that paul columbia was 3-8 last year on a team that had a 2000 yard rusher. They have only won 3 playoff games in his 13 years as head coach and two of those were in the same year. Only one district championship. Opponents of GRC are more than a little nervios he is gone. Ms. Farris made the right call based on facts and what is best for the student athletes of GRC. 50 people showed up in a town of 30,000. Not that impressive to me. Realize she is his wife and might not have the best interest of the kids in mind. GRC players are VERY happy to have a new direction and should make noise this next year.
  4. Hit Catch Throw! Brings back a lot of memories in 2008! I'm glad you are back! I know you love beating Greenup. Go Rams!
  5. Rumors are flying around that Aaron Pettry has been picked up by the Bengals!
  6. Just two players ejected? Both teams on the field fighting!
  7. Rumor has it that Reed did not agree with the new Musketeer motto – "Sacrifice, Commitment, Carter."
  8. http://i36.tinypic.com/348jz8x.jpg This picture has been floating around the internet. I wonder what happened to his head?
  9. Ryan Williams had around 240 yards rushing .........second all time in GRC History for a single game!! STUD.
  10. I don't think I would listen to the opinions of rival fans. I hope for coach Columbia sake you are still not on the sidelines for the game on Saturday. I would say Coach Columbia trusts you and others like you that are in his sidelines. I think this is a glimpse of what me going on at GRC. Coaches need 100% support from schools/community.
  11. It is always the coaches fault. I hate to hear fans/players talk bad about coaches. Excuses are the first signs of a LOSER. It is easy to blame coaches or use them as an excuse for losing. Support the school/coaches you root for! Go GRC!
  12. I heard that Clark County looked pretty good throwing the ball around. Andrew Dini, the QB is only a sophomore and threw several nice balls making some good reads in most of the games. Any one else's thoughts?
  13. I think they should have allowed fans in. Sell it out. Tickets would have went on sale at 10 o'clock yesterday morning online. No riots/fights to get tickets. Yes, it is a bad situation but at least 9,000 fans could have enjoyed the games.
  14. Wow! So, 12 of the 15 are still playing. I would like to keep a running record after tomorrows games.
  15. How many private schools in the state of Kentucky play football?
  16. Scott County is a very good team. However, Clark Co. had many opportunities to win the game. Clark Co. scored on it's first two posessions, dominating the Scott Co. defense. They were catching up the entire game. A turnover and special teams play (kick off for TD) were the difference in the game. Scott CO. DID NOT DOMINATE. THey were very lucky to win the game. Just ask the coach, he was scared to death before the game. He knew his Cardinals (Scott CO) may lose. Ask anyone if they want to play Clark in the playoffs. ..................... Any takers????????????:sssh:
  17. Game moved to 8:00. Time to do a little more tailgating!
