Well, MY "Morehead source" tells me that there is no coaching vacancy at Rowan County, and with Breeden's reputation of verbal abuse towards players, he probably wouldn't be a candidate @ RC anyway. Not ALWAYS the ref's fault; but Pettit got mugged all night and got called for touch fouls all night. Bath Co. looked like another 16th region team that hacks and slaps all night and get away with it. And no, RC did not shoot more free throws; as a matter of fact, 11 of the FT's they did take were in the last 2 minutes of the game, when it was decided.

WRONG!! It was a WWE power bomb! He picked Adams up and slammes him; the dark haired official should have mad BC's all tourney team.

Nathan Miles from Rowan through very well last year, in about 6 appearences with significant innings, he did not give up a walk. Also, Skyler Adams has a good arm with good control, any of these three could be great pitchers in the region.

If Laken Johnson, Rowan Co., has a healthy arm, he will be one of the best.

Thoughts? They've played twice; a 2 pt game @ Rowan and a 7 pt game at Bath. I'm going to take Rowan by 6 in this one.

They're predicting rain and snow for the next 7 days for most of the state, already a bad start to the season. :cry: :mad:

Unfortunately, for teams without indoor facilities, it will be at least 2 more weeks before fields are in suitable condition.

Rowan did not play to their potential. This should have been a 20 point game, if Rowan wants to win region they need to play much better next week.

Weatherby is on Main St. just about a quarter of a mile from the AAC/Johnson Arena.

Rowan Co. by 5-10 pts. They are just the all around better team in this matchup.
