Bath actually won the 10th region tournament in 1977, beating Maysville HS in the finals.

Bath Co played great and hit just about every shot they put up. Clemons had to have well over 10 assists as Rowan pressed all game. He just kept breaking the press and dishing for easy lay ins.

What happened that Clemmons only had 2 points?

I know they have moved from the 10th and 16th regions a couple of times.

What happened that Clemmons only had 2 points?

He didn't shoot that much. He just kept breaking the press and then dished off for easy shots.

Bath is very good and has potential to make some noise at Ellis T.

Clemons set the last 10 mins. of the first half with 2 fouls. Thats when Maze put on a show, scoring 20 of his 27 in the first half. As you can see Bath hurt them on the boards, on both ends. This says something when Clemons scores 2 points and they still beat a good Rowan County team 75 to 58. Good luck Bath County, still alot of basketball to play.:ylsuper:

Congrats to Bath Co on the win, just a great story with the coach and players all having a great year.

Good luck to both teams next week. :thumb:

Bath has been a very competative team the last few times I've seen them play this year. They will make some noise at Regionals! Congrats!!

When Clemons went out in the first, Taylor Maze went off. I asked after the game what he shot from the floor. 6/8 fg and 15/18 ft could be a good reason he was MVP. Hats off to a good Rowan County team that has been through alot this past week. GO CATS!!

Congratulations to Bath County on their District Championship.
