I guess it is just hard for you to accept the fact that Bath has won 4 of the last 5 against the Vikings. After years of Rowan domination, it seems as if the tide may be turning in the 61st.

Not ALWAYS the ref's fault; but Pettit got mugged all night and got called for touch fouls all night. Bath Co. looked like another 16th region team that hacks and slaps all night and get away with it. And no, RC did not shoot more free throws; as a matter of fact, 11 of the FT's they did take were in the last 2 minutes of the game, when it was decided.

 

Check post 11, Rowan County shot 34 Bath County shot 31. Fouls Rowan County 23 Bath County 25. The two players did get tangled and fall. I was on that end of the court and there wasn't anthing dirty about it. BOTH young men showed alot of class after the game in talking to each other.

Those stats on post 11 came off of the Rowan County stat-mans sheet.

I have to hand it to Bath Co. ... they are very talented, I just don't like seeing such unsportmanlike conduct on anybody, my team included.... There should have been a foul called. There was no need for the elbow to the chest. This young man could have been seriously injured.......

Check your post; it was 22-7 Bath at the half. Again they evened it up after the outcome was decided.And, IT WAS dirty. Besides, BC has one more year and then back to mediocrity again...with NO regional championships.
