:confused: I didn't post this until now, because I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were caught up in the moment of winning and had to change into varsity uniforms; but it doesn't take long to shake someone's hand and there is what 20 minutes between games.:confused: Their coaches should have never let this happen!!! But this shows me what Elliottt thinks of their opponents and themselves.

I was at this game. First I would like to say I don't have a dog in this fight, but I did see something that disturbed me after the JV game.The Lions JV team beat the Cougars JV team by about 50 points, but they (Elliott) did NOT have the decency to come shake their hands after the game!! All but 3 of Elliott Countys players headed straight to the locker room!!! I think this was in very bad taste,. bad sportsmanship and I would guarantee that Matthew Perry would never let this happen!!!! Elliott, I hope you are not getting too big for your britches!!!!! Also, great job Cougars for playing a hard game and for being the polite, upstanding young men that I like to see.

Congratulations to Coach Daniel!!! Somerset is getting an outstanding coach and tremendous community leader. He will be dearly missed in the 16th region!!!! Good Luck and Best Wishes!!!!

24 fouls against Rowan.....less than half for Breathitt. Brockman and Spurlock foul out. Spurlock hardly EVER fouls out... too smart of a ballplayer. Fouls against Breathitt were not called. if they had of been, Shouse would have fouled out the 1st quarter; so many times over the back, it was pitiful!!!! 6 foot 3 over a 5 foot 5..... how could it not be over the back..... i will take the refs from the 16th or the 9th anytime!!!!! I'm VERY PROUD of these young ladies and the way they have conducted themselves in the classroom, in public and on the court.... they are true role models for our younger kids..... we will certainly miss Cassidi, Stefani and Nicole next year. Girls you have made your parents, your family, your friends , your coaches, your school and your community VERY PROUD!!!! Best Wishes in the future!!! :dancingpa

I completely agree with you HoopsGal; that was a very rude comment coming from an adult; but, then that is where most of the very rude comments come from. We can't ask our kids to act any different when adults are setting these examples. People should not judge these fine young ladies when they don't even know them!!!! I have to hand it to Bath Co. ... they are very talented, I just don't like seeing such unsportmanlike conduct on anybody, my team included.... There should have been a foul called. There was no need for the elbow to the chest. This young man could have been seriously injured.......

First of all.... Let's not put the cart before the horse. I have not heard anything about Don Daniel resigning and don't know whether he should or not. Second.... Andrew Zaheri has done a wonderful job stepping up and coaching this team through a District tourny and getting to the regionals, it would be plain out MEAN to overlook this young coach.... Lastly, Scott Tackett has FIXED what Coach Thomas BROKE!!!!! He was not just handed a Superb team that didn't need a coach. Don't get me wrong, these young ladies are extremely talented, more than what most people want to admit to. they have had to struggle thru adversity losing one coach and then another 2days before a season opening scrimmage, and then taking on a third coach with different philpsophy.People didn't have faith in these girls ... they said they would never make it.... Well, they were wrong, when they picked Scott Tackett, they chose a Wonderful coach, and he cares about these girls wholeheartedly on and off the court....Let's not count our chickens before they hatch!!!!:irked::irked::irked:

For those of you that left the Morehead area..... the Brass Eagle was a fine dining restaurant at the edge of the MSU campus. When the guy who leased the building's contract was up, he left town... The owner of this building did a very smart thing and remodeled the bottom half and made it apartments. (the top two floors are already apartments). They are still very operational after all these years!!!! The Weatherby gymnasium is the old gym that sits across from the old Dairy Cheer which is now a new restaurant Melini Cucini and beside the Rowan County courthouse. Just thought I would clarify this for you all.... by the way , it was Jerry's restaurant that burned.

Does anyone know anything about Skylar Adams chest injury last night? I had heard he proceeded on to the hospital last night. Seemed like it was a really rough game, maybe a little too rough when this didn't constitute a foul.......
