Who do you rate as the top 5 pitchers in the 16'th region for the 2007 baseball season?

Moore-Boyd

Grizzle-Raceland

Bowling-Boyd

Bias-Ashland

Hieneman-Greenup

Tyler Perkins-Boyd

Got to Watch Bias-Ashland Last year in the Russel Tourny he has a great arm.

There will be several excellent pitching match-ups, in the 16th on a nightly basis.

Moore is excellent, command, control and super mechanics. Grizzle is extremely competitive, makes you look over-matched and is a top LH.

Andy Fannin from Morgan County

Bias is a competitor, has a great curveball, but doesn't throw that hard. But everytime he steps onto that mound he's there to do everything he can to win. Just an intense player.

Moore is probably the best pitcher in the region, has speed on his fastball that no one else in the region can compare to plus great control.

Ryan Sagraves of East Carter is a talented pitcher. He has 14 wins the last 2 seasons.

Justin Moore leads the pack in the 16th region for Boyd Co, who also has 2 other talented pitchers in Greg Bowling and Tyler Perkins.

Ryan Sagraves had a quiet year last year he may come on strong this year.

I am curious to see how many different looks people get from Boyd pitching this year...Moore is tops, followed closely by Bowling, Perkins

I believe Moore and Grizzle are the only two returning all-area pitchers from last year. I may be forgetting someone but I know those two were both all-area last season.

Martin-Rowan

As a coach for many years and watching area baseball

This is what I think

Moore--Boyd--This kid is one of the areas top

Grizzle--Raceland--still watching this kid and I like him

Bowling--Boyd--Seems like Boyd has them all

Perkins--Boyd--I dont know who will be tops at Boyd

Bias--Ashland--This should be his year for the Cats

Sagraves --East--record speaks for itself

Hienenman--Greenup--Great control and will be Greenups top

Thompson--Fairview--I got him at 83mph as a soph, may be tough this season

Rigsby--Ashland--Good arm but needs more control

Hienenman of Greenup and Martain of Rowan are two very good pitchers.

Look for lefty Tyler Perkins from Boyd to have a big year. He has some nasty off speed pitches.:thumb:
