Congrats to the Red Devils on the win. You deserved it. Prayers go out to J. Vanhoose on the knee injury, I hope that he can play but peliminary reports were it was an ACL.

The Raceland kids played tough and did not quit. You have nothing to hang your head over, you were beaten by a better basketball team tonight.

I will say again and then leave it at this. The Russell radio guys are terrible. On top of that the remark they made about T. Boyles going down with an injury in the 2nd half was uncalled for and classless  ! "the good thing about Boyles injury is that coach Johnson will have to change or abandon his game plan"...........What??!!! There is no good new about ANY kid getting injured from ANY team. That comment was pathetic!:fight:

This is not sour grapes from a Raceland fan, The Russell kids and coaching staff deserved this win.

Congrats to Russell on the win.

Great effort by the Rams but came up short.

Prayers go out for J. Vanhoose and Tyler Boyles who suffered knee injuries in this game.

Good luck to the Devils in the Championship game.

Hopefully someone can update on Tyler Boyles injury. The Russell radio guys made no mention of it other than he went out and it was good news bc Raceland would have to adjust their game plan! Those clowns don't belong in radio broadcast of h.s. kids games...............Period! Sorry, I said that I wouldn't mention it it again, I'll just consider the source and go on.

If anyone can update on Boyles injury it would be appreciated since follow up was given on him.

Thank You.

Hopefully both of the unjured will recover quickly! How serious is Vanhoose's injury?

Dodd said in his post game show that it may be an ACL tear but they will not know for sure until the Dr. visit tomorrow.

Let's keep both he and Boyles in our prayers.

The way it was described it was pretty bad, they said that Vanhoose said that he heard it "pop" and he couldn't put any weight on it, coach Dodd said it appeared to be an ACL but they wouldn't know untill the Dr.'s looked at it and they would be preparing as if they would not have him - that as far as he could tell that he would be out.

Prayers go out for Vanhoose and Boyles from this Raceland fan.

I am making a phone call to check about the Boyles injury. I have tried three cell phone numbers and cant get through however a phone call was made to channel 3 and channel 13 on investigating how un-professional radio personalities on sports are in this area. Hopefully they will learn how it feels to be under attack. These are kids on both sides and we care for all of them. How dare anyone make a statement that if for any child getting injured.

Congradulations Russell. You all have an outstanding team. prayers for Vanhoose

Raceland your fans are still right behind you and we are there in anyway we can for Boyles and his family.

Tough news for both teams. Prayers certainly go out to both young men, for sure not the way you want to see any student athlete end a season or H.S. career for that matter. Congrats to Russell defending the 16th region title.

Russell hasn't won anything yet so I wouldnt get ahead of myself on that prediction because Ashland or Elliot might have something to say about that.
