So, who is truely the better team?

 

Huntington, WV or Scott County, KY?

 

Is Huntington better with or without Mayo? They are 0-1 with him and 1-0 without him against Scott County. They split their games with each winning at home. This is a tough choice.

Played tough. Just came up a bit short. Bud & Matt had a tough night, not alot of romm to get off any shots. Good D by Huntington.

I think most know Huntington is the better team. Out of 10 games I say they win anywhere from 6-8 of them. Scott county had a great game when they knocked them off before. There is just to much talent on that team.

Portwood came up so big for the Cardinals. I believe Huntington had more to prove tonight than Scott Co. Both teams have two big games coming up next.

I was going to post the same thing.

Scott played hard, stayed in the game til the end. Portwood fouled out in the 4th quarter but was awesome on 3's. I believe he had 7 of them. Patterson finished with 19pts. Both teams were good on defense. The game changed lead several times during the game. The game was very physical especially the 2nd half.

I was really hoping they would pull this one off. Not only for themselves but for the whole state of Kentucky. Not to say they haven't proven themselves already but 2 wins against one of the top teams in the nation would have been GREAT!!!!

I would have agree with this. I wonder if they will play again next year. The Cardinals lose one starter.

I wouldn't count any Billy Hicks team out whenever these two teams play. Yes Huntington has the talent (this year), but their coaching isn't as good as Scott Co's.
