Congrats to the Lady Raiders. A great effort for the Lady Rams without Vanderhoof. These young ladies have had a great season, and Coach Trimble and the Lady Rams are to be congratulated on a great season. :thumb:

Heartbreaking loss to say the very least for the Lady Rams. Raceland led most of the way, Racleand lead 11-4 after the 1st qtr., the biggest lead for Raceland was at 9. Tacket (ECHS) was held scoreless in the first half and exploded in the 2nd half for 16.

Conrats to East and good luck the rest of the way. Lady Rams, you have nothing to be ashamed of at all, you have made this community proud and represented your school and this community well.

Whitney Seals finished with 16pts for Raceland to lead the Lady Rams

Tackett lead East Carter with 16pts.

:thumb: :thumb: Coach Trimble has done an excellent job with this team and this group of seniors. As for the seniors, I know that you are hurting now but you have to realize that your group has set the bar higher for future teams. You have accomplished a lot in your time here and everyone is proud of you.

I really feel for Paige Porter, She needs to realize that w/o her and the rest of the "team" this team wouldn't be where they were this season. Paige has been a main cog in the Lady Rams attack all during her carrer.Paige Porter, Whitney Seals, Katelynd Porter and the rest of the seniors (I am afraid that I would leave someone out if I tried to list all) you have represented your school and comunity with class and have nothing to hang your heads over. Thank You for all you hard work and dedication.:thumb: :thumb:

Great game by both teams. East Carter never gave up and won in the stretch.

Raceland played well, Great season by the seniors, thanks for the memories.

Congrats to the Lady Rams on a fine year! And congrats to East Carter for holding on to pull this one out.

What a game. Saw the first half...listened to GoRadio for the second half. Both teams should be proud of their respective efforts.

Paige Porter should know that Coach Easterling had nothing but good things to say about her on the radio after the game...the kind of person she is, the career she's had...and that her missed free throws were no more meaningful than any of the missed shots earlier in the game. I second his remarks.

To the Lady Rams as a team...congratulations on a fine year.

Coach Easterling is all class. He consoled Paige at the end. Nice to see. I think East wanted it a little more . They came up with a lot of offensive rebounds off of their missed free throws. Congrats.

Question? Does the 3 second rule not exist any more? # 44 for East set up camp there. I counted her in there over 6 seconds at least 8-10 times.

Like I said Saturday, nice draw for The Hill.

Be careful not to be too critical of the officiating. You might hurt some delicate feelings.

This was a great game to broadcast! Lots of excitement, loved it! I think it came down to the fact that Raceland was a little short handed without Ms Vanderhoof and just plain got tired down the stretch. East stepped up the defensive pressure and it looked like Raceland was a little tired in the end making shots difficult to make. Just my opinion from where I was sitting on press row.

I felt terrible for Paige Porter. She is an awesome player and a great kid. Coach Easterling was very complimentary of her in the post game.

GoRadio, I also think the Lady Rams tired out at the end. Some things are just not meant to be. Congrats to East on a hard fought win and good luck on down the stretch.

Trimble and staff are top notch. This season has been thrilling. Thank you for being so dedicated to our team.

Easterling pulled Paige aside immediately after the game to talk to her. It was such a kind gesture. He is a class act. Just before the bus left, one of Lady Raiders came and hugged Paige and Katelynd both. It was just so sweet.

To all of you in BGP land, thanks so much for all your support of the Lady Rams over this season. It has been so much fun chatting with each of you, debating with some, and meeting others.

To my girls: Wow, what a great adventure the past 4 years have been. Your dad and I have watched you grow as individuals and leaders, defining your roles on and off the basketball court. Your dedication to the sport and to your team is to be admired. You both have matured into fine young ladies who we are so very proud of. You have learned to handle the good times, and the bad, with class and dignity. You have grown by learning all the lessons we as parents hope that athletics will instill in you. Thank you both for all you have given to us and for allowing us to share this experience with you. Your futures are bright and full of promise.

Lady Rams, this team has been awesome. Be proud of your accomplishments and records this season. Hold them and each other close to your heart.

:thumb: :thumb: Great post incognito, I couldn't had said it any better.

Also, a thank you and :thumb: to coach Easterling, your action shows all class and it is appreciated.

As for the Raceland girls, I have already stated what a great season that you have had and how proud everyone is of each and everyone of you. Now, lets roll out the batting cages and dust off home plate and get ready for an equally great and promising softball season. :thumb: The Lady Rams softball team will also be hard to handle this spring.:ylsuper:
