Here you go DaddyCat. Franklin Counties district draws from east Frankfort, Western Hills draws from west Frankfort, and Frankfort High draws from south Frankfort and part of north Frankfort. Frankfort High does have several tuition students as the districts housing is continually shrinking because of state government buying up houses and using as offices or tearing them down and constructing new office buildings. Hope this helps clear things up.

Alot of teams have gone to the pass first offense. I know teams that can mix in the run succesfully have done well with this. I'm just curious of how many teams that almost rely on it 100% have won state championships. The Bardstown teams of the mid and late 90's come to mind. I was at a game where they had a commanding lead, but ended up losing mostly because they refused to run the ball, of course Danville made one heck of a come back. Bardstown couldn't kill clock with the pasiing game.

Not being critical, but I looked at the pictures of the scrimmage before I read this thread. I was thinking the kid carrying the ball in the wrong hand was a fumble looking for a place to happen. Don't even know if he's the kid that fumbled or not, and he is by far not the only back that carries the ball in the wrong hand.

Let's see Beechwood was able to load the box because they knew Frankfort didn't throw the ball well. Frankfort had to honor the pass as much as the run with the QB that was there. Not saying it would've changed things, but it is easier to stop a one dimensional team.

Not to argue, but offensively I thought your alls QB was the key to your offense, and he left some pretty big shoes to fill.

The fact Mr. Euton stated they were moving because of basketball seems to be the difference to me.

Getting the kids to buy into what you're trying to do is the biggest factor, other than talent. LN obviously hasn't been on the bad end of a 68-14 or 56-0 thrashing. Too many of those and you can completely lose a team.

This reminds me of when I was the head middle school coach. I took over a program that hadn't finished a season in two years. We went on to win our conference undefeated for two years. When I went to redo the schedule for the third year one of the conference teams refused to schedule us. The second year we beat them we only had 17 players and he told me we were getting to big and needed to play bigger teams. This was from a small private school in Louisville. Now that's a lame excuse for not playing someone.

Good hard nosed kid, I think they screwed up.

I would like to see new state champions in every class.

Starting and contributing are two different things. Isn't this the same kid that got suspended for the state championship game and is now looking at his third school in two years. To say anyone in the state would welcome him with open arms is a bit of a stretch. I agree the kid has talent, but I've never been overly impressed with him on the football field.

I was told after this year unless it's a district game Frankfort will only schedule within a 60 mile radius.

He wouldn't work hard for Sam is what I'm understanding, so what would cause him to work harder for someone else. Like most on here I don't want to bash the kid, but he was overated on the football field.
