I know nothing about this situation, but that email is horrible. The accusations in that email can ruin a man for life. The fact that is was signed Families of Martha Layne Collin’s High School” shows that there are cowards behind such accusations. If you are going to accuse someone of such things, stand up, put your name to it, and you better have proof. If there is no basis for the accusations, I hope he takes Mrs Higdon for all she has.

But, shouldn’t they be designed and built knowing this is going to happen anyway?

Class of 70 and 75 will be there for reunions too. Class of 75 (football season 74), was the first team to make it to state. They will be expecting a big win!

I sure hope it isn’t true that the driver who hit him was out drinking the next day, but I have seen stranger things. Brad is such a big hero around here, I am surprised any local place would serve him.

Brad made the very best out of horrific injuries. He has worked hard to be his best physically and mentally. He makes presentations to schools about the dangers of drunk driving. He became a local personality as the “wheelchair waver” His Facebook posts are always kind and upbeat. He was initially hurt 26 years ago when he was a passenger in a car driven by a drunk friend crashed. Last night he was hit by a car driven by an alleged drunk driver as he crossed the street in his wheelchair. No one deserves that kind of horror once, not to mention twice. Great man from a great family. Prayers for him and them.

I took my daughter to see the Nutcracker when she was about 7. It was the first ballet for both of us. Halfway through, she asked me why none of the dancers talked. I had no idea. We both thought it was a play with dancing. Couldn’t believe how culturally ignorant I was. Not gonna lie. I hated it.

I can’t help but follow this trial. If half of the allegations are true, he is one sick puppy.

Yellowstone was definitely better than I imagined! You will love it! Yellowstone and our Alaskan cruise were two trips that exceeded my expectations. Still waiting and hoping for the grandparent experience.

When I was a kid, I would have preferred facing a police officer over my mom any day!

I can’t help but think about what school was like when I went 50 years ago. It is so sad to see how things have changed. I know it is a complex problem, but I think the root of the problem lies in parenting. Our parents supported teachers 100%. If we were in trouble at school, we were in twice as much trouble at home. My parents would never suggest that the teacher was lying about our bad behavior. We were taught manners and respect. The idea that we would even need a police officer in the school would have been ridiculous.

What a scary article. The teacher was right. They need more staff, better control and hold parents responsible. I feel so bad for the staff and innocent students there. Can’t the police temporarily step in and help get things calmed down? Why are students that beat up others not arrested? Normally, I wouldn’t advocate for that, but it sounds like things are much worse than a typical playground brawl.

Great article and I love the video. The Tigers certainly set their doubters straight. They were by far the best team in that match up. I am so happy for those boys.
