As a Beechwood grad, I like the traditional red and white. Sounds like the kids liked it though, and it brought some fun to the evening. Hope it isn’t a permanent thing. What do I know? My kids will tell you that I am out of touch as I sit here in my mom jeans with my TV turned up too loud.

Never heard of Captigon. Will have to do some reading, thanks!

I have been watching/reading a lot in the last couple of weeks trying to get a full understanding of the whole situation. I will never understand how so many people can join forces to kill innocent people, especially children, praise their version of God, and celebrate it. It scares me how powerful evil countries have become. I believe Albert Einstein said “I don’t know how WW3 will be fought, but I know how WW4 will be fought…with stone spears.” Seems frighteningly prophetic.

Family at 43 Beechwood Road is offering parking in their yard for $20. Proceeds go to the cross country team. There are several parties, including one big one on Bed h wood Road, so come early. Parking is a nightmare with the construction, and Kroger will be policing spots as well. Kroger has been overwhelmed this year with the parking situation.

LMPD officer shot and in critical condition
Beechwoodfan replied to Tigerpride94's topic in Controversial Issues
I worry a lot about the future of America. As a kid, most people were taught to respect and obey police officers. Today, there seems to be an overall lack of respect among people, but particularly with police officers who have a very dangerous job. Officers are leaving the profession, and not enough people replacing them. When I watch TV and see people openly looting stores, assaulting people, kids getting shot in drive by shootings, etc, it scares me. I have no doubt that, as the police force dwindles, people are going to start defending themselves, escalating gun violence. It will be chaos. I pray this officer recovers and am very grateful there are still brave men and women willing to do that job. -
