I wouldn't go that far!!! Anyways just a night when nothing was going you way. SL "Brung it" every play and just seem to me wanted it more at times. We got a few calls at very crucial times in the game and had a TD called back that would have tied the score and then just could prevent the scrambling of Bowling and he made some great plays that kept them moving the ball. SW with a bunch of turn overs just killed drives. Great win for SL you just played tough tonight. Keep it going. SW will rebound and move on. See you soon..................LTW.

Super, I just hadn't heard. Hope he heals up fast and gets it going this fall. Enjoyed watching him play against the NCH gang (circus) in Frankfort last season. Nothing but the best for him I wish. Showed those Cincy boys that they do play BB in the state of Kentucky

I agree with you on every point. Somerset maybe the best 0-4 team by season end. Played very tough every game they have played. WOW their opponets are 7-1 and that's SW loss to Danville. What a schedule?? I believe they bounce back after Friday to have a winning season or and very lease .500 before playoffs. Play tough Friday night and you just never know. I can't see it being a blow-out like people are predicting but it's not going to be easy to hold the Ad's down. Keep'em under 30 and you may have a shot.............Good luck both teams...........LTW.

I believe as long as he's considered the holder he is allowed to do what ever with the ball even though his knee may be on the ground. He's no longer the holder if he gets up from that position. Meaning if he gets up from the holder position he then becomes a back just like any other and all rules apply at that point. If he stumbles and falls back down without trying to set the ball for the kicker then the ball is blown dead at that point and placed there if it's a field goal try. extra point is no good and kick off follows.

:scared: WOW! is it really over 700 yards passing against us. I just looked up stats it's still a lot but just over 500 yards. Danville had three plays over 60 plus yards. Somerset had two I believe.

You need to go read the Somerset/Southwestern game thread about rushing yards. Less than 100 yards rushing to both Danville and Somerset combined in the last two games. Going to be tough for GRC to have a break-out rushing game against the Warriors!!!

Southwestern, Somerset, Pulaski Co. all local teams. We should be fans of all three unless your playing one another. This one is over and done and what a great game it was. One had to win and the other had to lose just the way it is. The being critical part is what gets me. If every player on every team did their job every time the ball would remain in the middle of the field going no where. It's kids like Cole and Deaton for Somerset and kids like Jones and Hampton for Southwestern that make the difference. Great line play great linebacker play great receiver play is why the games are played. Let's hope all three teams do well and are successful each and every year and let's let the critics be from outside the county and let's give them the "smack talk" until the game is over.

Going to be a good one. Last year OT. win by GRC by 3. How can you ask for more. I'll give the edge to SW as well only because of homefield. Going to be another good one at the Reservation. Have a safe trip over GRC and enjoy the drive it's not bad at all.

Rebelk, has just given you the greatest insite to high school ball. It sometimes isn't about wins and loses it how you handled yourself during each. Boyle Co. were great champions and they were great players on each and every team. Boyle Co. are now great champions the seniors on this team have a championship ring and a runner up ring. Always with great class in victory and defeat they done something that we could only dream about. When your status reaches that level then start up about who's getting beat and who's handing it out. Great football teams and players in this state deserve our praise and Boyle Co. had a lot to do with great football being played in this state. Remember that when you talking about Boyle Co..............LTW.

AJG, we pegged this one once again. When cross town rivals play all bets are off. Somerset showed up and gave Southwestern a game. As we discuss eariler these were always games. Kids play harder against kids they know just a fact. Couple of great plays by our kids and yours along with a couple of dropped ball tell you how big this game was for them. Somerset had a kid open along our sideline WIDE OPEN and just missed the catch. Great game to watch and no let up. Wish you well the rest of the season................LTW.

Where have I been with all this going on!!!!!! Hey guys I believe "Cross Town Rivals" are just that not playing them for what ever reason is sad but I'm sure there were reasons. Anyways let's move to tonight the kids playing tonight were in the 6th grade when all that was going on. Kids play kids they know harder and more agressive than in other games it's a fact. You'll rough your brother up harder than anyone but won't allow no one else to touch him. It's crazy but that's what happens. Good luck both teams and if possible we would all like for the match ups to continue.............LTW.

Hey Jumper1, how can I get one of those up close and personal parking passes like they had last couple years? They make us park across the street and there were blocked off spaces no one was in..........................LTW.

DTML, just didn't know who he was talking to. Commando been around long enough to know this as well. We all knew our new players on both the offense and defense and an outstanding job they did too. Thrown into the fire right out of the gate and having to run down them speedy Danville players wasn't easy but did that as well. Made Danville have to air it out to beat you too. DTML we want to hear you comments and join BGP Warrior family we don't want you to feel you can't say whats on your mind. Commando, buddy I'll see you Friday night for another good one but it would be hard to top last one though. I told everyone what a great game by both clubs and that their wasn't a ride at Kings Island that could match the ride I took the other night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
