6Warriors Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 5 turnovers and a determined Cardinal team put the skids on the Warriors tonights. Anxious to hear what those at the game thought. Next week doesn't get any easier..........
mercer_titan Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 FINE FINE WIN! Great Job Cardinals. I knew that offense would start clicking. Bowling is a great talent! I'm sure it was a team effort.
gchs_uk9 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Just when I was starting to think about Southwestern knocking off Boyle County they go out and get handled by South Laurel. I realize the Cardinals are pretty good, but is this another case of Southwestern making waves early before the inevitable late-season collapse?
mercer_titan Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I would say it has alot to do with having one of the best young Qb's in the state.
Tiger127 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 WOW!!! I would never have predicted this score. Bowling can get a lot done with some time and people catching the ball.
MountainThunder Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 They finally started throwing the ball to and utilizing Logan Baker more and what does he do? 3 TD catches and a ton of other great plays. This is a HUGE win for the Cards!!! :thumb:
Oxnard Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 This game killed me in the "Staying Alive" Contest.
Boucher Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 Congrats to SL on a big win over a quality opponent. This is obviously not the same team that I was play Holmes earlier in the season. They must have improved by leaps and bounds. Also glad to see Lgan Baker have another big game. I always knew he could play, all he needes was a chance to show it. :thumb:

SL looks like they are starting to gel at the right time. The score definately shocked alot of people around the state. Congrats to South Laurel on the win and good luck to SW next week.
Son of Bear Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 This was a SHOCKER for me tonight I Agree.
thegeneral Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I'm shocked too. Looks like Southwestern is establishing a pattern of a good game followed by an off night.
