Crazy ending! Somebody there can share.

PSW contenders.... Danville a favorite!

SW got the ball back with 2:3? to go and gains about 8 yrds then goes all the way to the 2 of D's on a tipped ball that was caught and the Dville defender got tied up with the back judge. SW punched it in with I think about 1:36 on the clock. dville took kickoff and I believe scored on one play with a pass over the top the the rec. caught on the tips of his fingers and then it was a race. SW got ball back and gained about 25 but ran out of time and dville intercepted the last heave to end the game. Sorry if any of the details a wrong. Getting it from the radio.

This was one very exciting game to watch tonight. It was like two heavyweight boxers who refused to go down. I can't remember a game where I saw more big plays.

 

Was happy with the w, but the Ads will have to improve on defense and stop putting the ball on the ground as the season progresses. They fumbled six or seven times tonight and lost three of those (I think). Both teams look to have successful seasons.

WOW, one heck of a game tonight. Hats off to both squads both fought hard and neither gave up. I think we found some pass offense tonight, and it looked very good at times. Lots of work to do in the secondary though. Nice to talk to you Cammando, you and the Southwestern faithful are a class act.:thumb:

First of all I would like to say good game to PSW.You guys played very tough.You guys have a very good football team. Danville you guys showed alot of heart by not giving up. Good luck to both teams next week at somerset!

I would like to say as well, Ad's played till the clock runs out baby. If I could watch a game like this every night I be there early and happy. Ad's look really good and played their guts out tonight, Class act in Danville as always. A big thumbs up to you guys as well. Southwestern you guys come home and continue this playing and you get wins. No losers tonight. No two or three TD win for either team as I said eariler this week no one wins with this one by more than a TD. I thought 30 points wins it for SW but the Ads score with under a minute and a half. Can't let out. My question for all who were at this game have you ever seen a game with NO holding calls? This made it fun fun fun to watch. There was one against us but it was declined to take the down. Was a GREAT GAME by both teams good luck Danville the rest of the season.

That's a good point about not having any holding calls. Can't remember the last time I watched a game without any holding calls. We sure had plenty delay of game calls however.

Exciting game for the fans, but I'm sure the coaches for both teams will have a lot to say in the film sessions and practice this week.. Both teams played hard and didn't quit but can play a lot better.. Danville had a lot of motion flags and put the ball on the ground too much.. SW's line play needs to improve on both sides of the ball... A lot of good play also, both teams should have good seasons.. Good crowds for both games.. The folks at Danville put on a great bowl...

yea I thought of that when I was leaving the game about no holding calls.I like it when they let them play,as long as they let both sides play.
