What gives with the squib kick? Why not kick it over the return man's head? Or even kick onsides?

Kentucky vs. South Carolina prediction thread

Spurrier will lose his mind if he loses this game! Cats win 35-24. -
The intensity/emotion at the end of a game also has an influence on storming the field. Beat LSU 38-14 while leading since the 2nd quarter, no storming the field. Beat LSU 22-21 on a last second field goal, STORM the field.

Hats off to McCreary for beginning a turnaround, but you do not learn how to tackle in one week. Knox blanked Leslie in the opener and played Bell pretty tough. Now McCreary is going to beat Knox by 2 TD's or more? I highly doubt it.

Knox Central vs. Middlesboro Predictions

If it is not a signature win then that is a slap in the face of the Jackets program in my opinion, but if that's the way you see it then OK. Yeah, the next step would be a win versus Rock or Bell in their district. -

I love it! If they win, the kids did a great job. If they lose, the coaches are doing a horrible job. That seems to be Middlesboro athletics in a nutshell. -

Congrats to Coach Elam and the Panthers! -
Wouldn't you think his decision has a lot to do with choices that Petrino and Brohm make in the next week or so?

The Enterprise is always instrumental in getting the truly deserving athletes the recognition they deserve when it comes to AP All-State and such, (Freddie Maggard, Lori Kluck, George Massey). I don't think HDE has much to do with all-district voting and such. redskin4life, I bet if you gave HDE a solid lead on a feel good story about one of the kids from Cumberland or a coach, it would make the paper. Something positive and interesting to shed a different light on how kids from the area are viewed. Maybe it would change the way you feel about The Enterprise. The paper always needs something to print. Why not make it something good? -
Yes, 2 years $5 million

I have seen several occasions when HDE has stood up for the athletes at Cumberland when it comes to post season awards or publicity. Harlan is 25 miles from Cumberland. Why not jump the Tri-City News for not covering local sports the way they should? With all the youth and families involved in Cumberland athletics there should be two full pages a week in that paper covering sports! I bet you could even cover the events and write the stories, you might even get paid. Then again, it wouldn't be about the money. -
At this point I would love to see the Reds sign Tony Armas. Wouldn't mind seeing Schoeneweis back either for sure. Keith Foulke is the only other name there worth using as a closer.
