Featured Replies

Good game for the Jackets.. They played three different QB's and several of the young players got a chance to do some good things during the game.

Go Team..

Good Game Jackets.

Hmmmmm............

Looks like a one man show wasn't enough to take down the jackets.

good win

Not looking good for LC...

No heart, no emotion for this Lynn Camp. Lynn Camp quit after the first half, or after the final minute of the first half. With the score tied 8 to 8, Middlesboro was able to take the lead before the break, after Lynn Camp couldn't pick up a first down to run out the half. Middlesboro returned a punt for a td, then LC fumbled the kick, and Middlesboro recovered and took it down and scored on the final play of the first half, and that was the backbreaker. Lynn Camp will need to regroup and show they still have some fight left in the them, or it will be a long year.

Congrats to the Jackets!

I know Lynn Camp has stumbled through the first half a few times and come back to win some big games. This does not sound like them.

It does sound like them. They have a few good years about every 10 years and when they do they talk about how LC is here to stay as a power house. Yes they had a pretty good team lasy year and the year b4. but now it is starting to slide down hill again.

When you play a first half like Lynn Camp then play the second half like they did, it shows a lack of leadership, not from Dave Mitchell but from the players on the field. They have had great leadership the past couple of years but when Scalf, Reynolds and the other graduated, it left a void, which Roskoph can't fill........And now defenses can key and Roskoph and you find as the season goes on he not at the level people thought.

You couldn't be more wrong. Lynn Camp is one of the winnist teams in their district the last ten years. They have played for 3 regional titles, they have won one, and they have made it out of the first round 6 or 7 times the last ten years. Lynn Camp only averages around 25 players a season, and when numbers are low, you have a big class that graduates, your going to be hurting the following season. Lynn Camp also in the last ten years do not start a seasons well, one of the main reason for that is they play a tough non-district schedule year in and year out to have a better football team when November rolls around. Lynn Camp has come a long way the last ten year.

They need to develop some more offensive threats to go along with Roskoph. The lack of a passing game along with the loss of Chaffin & Reynolds will make it hard for Joe, but the season is young and Lynn Camp should be right in the middle of the district race if they can get a few players to step up their game.

This just in, Middlesboro is pretty good this year. I expect Lynn Camp to still be in the mix for a home playoff game in Class A, District 7.

Middlesboro does have a good looking team this year. They are going to make some noise. Maybe they'll be interested in playing us (LC) again in 10 years or so when we can regroup......................by the cycle mentioned earlier we should be o.k. by then. :)

You're right. You're always right.

We were Regional Champs 3 years ago. You forgot that. We were good 3 years in a row, not 2.

I'll bet most of it was luck, though.

How many district titles has Lynn Camp won?

How many in the last ten years?

Now for the fact that they have a large enrollment for single A is a true one and yet one shot at a region title?

I hate to say it but that is kinda sad!
