:thumb: I think an immediate move to 2A is in order, however, for Beechwood.

Beechwood needs to move up to retain their integrity as a top notch small-school program along with NewCath. Neither programs' season would be complete (in my mind at least) without playing eachother in a game that meant something state-title wise.

I will not now, nor will I ever support this system.

So would NewCath's from what I see so far, unless I'm missing something. Not as bad as the Juggs' though.

Yes.

I'm sure Beechwood will move up to 2A with NewCath.

The starting QB will be Jared Harris, no questions asked.

:thumb: I can't wait until this game.

I'm saying the quote of "NewCath, Danville, and Beechwood are the Big 3" is usually the tune heard every year. Mayfield hasn't been as consistently in it the past few years.

Like a broken record... gotta love it. Who knows how many times this has been said before and during a KY high school football season.

A State Final (especially the champ) 1A team is, more often than not, going to be better than a State Final 2A team. NewCath will most likely be the stronger team.

Haven't heard that... I'll make some calls.

I was waiting for that from you.

I doubt he wanted a thread about him like this. Most good football players I know let their game do the talking... they might read this website, but they don't feel the need to get plugs on here from biased fans of their team.

After NewCath, I root for Highlands.

Doesn't matter who owns it or doesn't own it. It's always fun to see the Breds use the field later in the season every year than the Wildcats.

If by time you mean 10+ years, I agree.

The better question is can Michael lead the Breds to another state title without Sam. Maybe he can hit 1700 yards... but if they win state and he only rushes for 900, I'm sure he'll be happy with it.

NewCath always has a chance to win it. Lost a lot - just like they did after my senior year, but they won state the year after. There are a lot of coaching changes up on the hill, so far I think it will be better for the team. You never know until they suit up though. Let's hope the Breds can do it.

As most have said, Beechwood is Beechwood - but, you can never convince me they will be the same Beechwood without Yeagle.

And they will continue to attend NCC, CCHS, and Highlands because of football.

:sssh: Very correct.
