The Brossart/Beechwood tri-match in volleyball has been cancelled for this evening (9/21) due to illnesses. Hope all return to good health quickly.

Dixie played well against NDA last night. Yes, they lost, but they played well. (both varsity games were double digits, btw) There were numerous blocks and some pretty tough digs. Give them at least a year or so to gel, and they will be on the right path. The kids just have to get into the grove and WANT to be winners, and the parents must buy in, too. The new coaching staff wants to take them there. They just have to believe.

We are definately down in the number of spots. If you can-WALK. Park at the pool or at Ft. Mitchell Baptist. You'll help the cause, your health, and your neighbors!!!

Dixie beat Holmes Thursday night in their opener at Holmes.

Dixie and Scott scrimmaged last night. Frosh split, JV and Varsity was all Scott. Dixie has potential to kick it in later when they get used to new coaches and each other.

I know that Beechwood had a scrimmage last night and I heard good things-especially about the younger players/teams. Heard Scott is a definate contender, also.

Agreed. I think Dixie will be turning around here shortly, too.:thumb:

How many Northern KY teams are under new coaches? Have we heard anything from their camps? How are they looking?

Have to agree with you. Sitting directly behind the plate, he sure liked them slightly outside. But, we're human, and we're not making the OFFICIAL calls. :lol: Great job Tigers! And yes, Nate, you made us proud! Along with every other player on the team!

Seems this baseball season has been more miserable weather-wise than most football seasons! Yesterday ranks right up there with the most uncomfortable games attended.

I'd say that the district championship game could have lower attendance because the kids are strapped for cash, the game costs more than a usual game, and they know that their team will go to the region anyway. Now, the next regional games will have better attendance. It could be their last game. Just my observation.
