In NKY who can even match up with NDA?

NDA 25-9 25-10 and most of those Dixie points will be unforced errrors by NDA.

I would expect ND will hold Dixie to single digits in both sets. Dixie volleyball is headed in the wrong direction.

This depends on what you mean by "Up and Coming". I would argue that NDA is not up and coming, they are "already arrived" and continue to play at very high level. I would also contend that St. Henry and NCC would not be considered "up and coming", but rather steady at a level above the other Northern Kentucky teams.

 

If by up and coming you mean "who is likely to be good in the next couple of years", then I would consider Notre Dame, St. Henry, NCC and Scott to be the "Up and Coming" teams in NKY.

Scott has a strong class of Juniors that will carry them for the next two seasons. Ryle, Campbell County, Beechwood, Highlands and Boone have been consistent as the next group of teams and I expect that will remain the same in the next couple of years.

Dixie is not going the wrong way they are just very young. They have a new coach and will be competitive soon. Just not tonight.

 

Scott has a 6'3" and 6'4" middle that are both only Juniors. With only a slightly weak defense they are very tough and will contend this year and next.

Dixie played well against NDA last night. Yes, they lost, but they played well. (both varsity games were double digits, btw) There were numerous blocks and some pretty tough digs. Give them at least a year or so to gel, and they will be on the right path. The kids just have to get into the grove and WANT to be winners, and the parents must buy in, too. The new coaching staff wants to take them there. They just have to believe.

Scotts defense and serve receive are slightly weak. However, if they just get the ball up and to Tibbs, chances are she is getting a kill. And she puts up a "wall" of a block. They are a very exciting team to watch. I hope to be able to see them again this season.

Correction...It is O'Conner that I was talking about, however both girls are very talented.
