Im not sure, I havent heard the cause of his death. It's been a little while since I have seen him. I know he smoked quite a bit or at least he used to not sure if that was it or not. I'll try to find out more.

I have been informed that long time Newport head coach Ray Brown passed away overnight. Very sad to hear, I think almost everyone that played for him loved the guy. I'll never forget playing for him and some of the things he used to say. He was a hell of a guy who will really be missed.:cry:

You can get it done in the 400k range. Thats about what it costed at Newport. Also remember that you can get turf companies to bid on your job. I believe thats why Newport was able to get it for much less than they thought they would need because they had turf companies bid on the project and I assume they took the cheapest company.

Newport has a crazy tough schedule. They open up with Cov Cath, then I know that Highlands, Dixie, NCC, and some of the other big nky schools are on the schedule. They really have their work cut out for them.

Not sure of the total but it was against Newport. I remember the half court shot very clearly..

The shaft is half the reason I went with my Launcher. It came with an Aldila x-stiff shaft which I definently needed.

Ok I may need to change my mind. I have struggled some lately with the Launcher so I today I tried my uncles Super Quad a couple times and I loved it. I was hitting it deep and more importantly STRAIGHT today. Loved kickin my uncles butt with his own club. You may want to try one of these out Agent.

I really like my Launcher too. Ive hit a lot of other drivers but my launcher is the only one for me. Agent, My uncle just bought a Tayler Made Super Quad a couple weeks ago at the Cincy golf show for 289 bucks. Not sure how much they are regularly but we played over the weekend and he was stroking it with the new driver and really likes it.

What day is the next game against NCC?

Looks like the 3rd quarter sealed Newports fate. They seem to be playing alright this year I'll have to check them out. Dont know much about Gallatin but from the scores Ive seen they look like a pretty darn good team. Is this a better year than normal for Gallatin or do they usually have this kind of success?

Yes Newport will be in the All A again.

From what I was told the job is not even available. Im hearing Hyder will be back on the sidelines next year.

From what I know they were pretty young this year and had a lot of new guys getting there first taste of varsity action. They lost a lot of talent off of the 05 team that was 11-2 and it showed in 06 and 07. About 3 or 4 coaches on the staff have been there for 8 to 10 years now so I wouldnt say they threw away everything they had in place.

Talk about a huge school, one of my best friends went to high school there and he took me up to see it one time. That place is like a college campus. Very nice.

Unfortunately their not the first two down there that made those choices and wont be the last.

Im sitting here watching the replay of the game and was wondering how many fumbles LCA had this year? The way #30 takes the handoff from the QB is awful. It looks like they would have a lot of fumbles on the QB/RB exchange. I didnt watch the whole game this is basically from about the beg of the 4th quarter on.
