Lloyd's defense was tough and made Beechwood work for everything they got. Unfortunately they didnt have much help from the offense and were on the field way to much.

He's pretty good, he's got a good arm an has made some nice plays. Just needs a little help from the rest of the guys.

Lloyd gets the stop but only after a crazy run by the Bwood QB, he ran all over that field from sideline to sideline and almost picked up the first down.

4th down and 7, Lloyd is bearing down now on D deep in their territory. Nice back to back plays for the Lloyd DB's.

Bwood just had a TD called back, 3rd and 11 at the 14 yd line for the tigers.

I smell a Bwood TD here.

BHS, No one said that Bellevue didnt cause the turnovers, just simply has been stated that the turnovers cost Newport the game. I was told that Newport turned the ball over a time or two pretty far in Bellevue territory which would have lead me to believe that if they didnt have those turnovers then there was a nice chance they would have scored. Nobody's making excuses for them losing and saying Bellevue got lucky. The only time Ive seen them this year was their scrimmage against Ludlow and I was unimpressed with their offense then so them only scoring 6 points doesnt surprise me. They had a long way to go then and this is even more proof that they still do.

Thats basically what my dad told me who was at the game. Sounds like if Newport holds on to the ball they score a couple more td's and win the game by a decent margin.

I played for Transfer Station with Lenny's younger brother Michael and their dad was our coach. We were always pretty tough.

I dont think any players do anymore most of them prolly never heard him called by that name before but Im sure that some of the guys from the past call him that.

If Bellevue can play good run defense then they will play the cats very tough. So far they have seemed pretty one dimensional since they have a young QB that still developing his passing. If Bellevue cant stop the run then the Tigers are in for a long night.

I hope so that would be great. He's probably my favorite guy down there. And yes he's been there for many years.
