I thought Lloyd looked good in this one, especially stringing it out and stopping the outside run. Could tighten it up beyween the tackles but the DB's looked real good. The Gregory kid throws a nice ball, actually out passing Beechwood tonight. If they eliminate a few mistakes they will be tough the rest of the season. This game was much closer then the score indicates.

Beechwood scored 10 late to put it away .Lloyd had a couple chances .A wide open receiver drops a good pass down the sideline that would of been 6 and the double pass play that was called back would of had them close .They ruled the first pass was forward .

What was the presentation before the game all about?

The Juggs showed a lot of heart hanging around in this one. A questionable call that ruled the first pass was not a backwards pass before the Jugg back hit a wide open receiver for a gain to the Beechwood 10 really hurt Lloyd. The Erlanger faithful would probably like to have the play back where the streaking Lloyd receiver dropped a pass that hit in the hands with no one around at midfield. And 14 rushing yards for Lloyd isn't going get it done.

 

Overall, I was impressed with Lloyd. Punt coverage was impressive. If they keep improving during the season, they will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Lloyd's defense was tough and made Beechwood work for everything they got. Unfortunately they didnt have much help from the offense and were on the field way to much.
