Someone tell that guy in the background that keeps yelling thats a bad call that we heard him the first time. He was getting freaking annoying.

They are going to need him to step up with Pittman in foul trouble. Sounds like he has so far.

How do you figure that? Take a look at Holmes and Boone's first round opponents. Didnt Ryle beat Beechwood head to head? Not to mention Holmes just beat the tigers by 20 a week ago. How bout their second round opponents. Hasn't NCC beat HHS twice this year and just waxed them by 20 a week ago? That doesnt look like a tougher draw to me.

If its who Im thinking it is, Ive seen him up at fitworks in Newport a lot, I wouldnt mess with that dude thats for sure.

Not sure when they stopped, I know they did it at least up until 5 years ago.

I know they used to but not sure why they dont now.

Having gone through the recruiting process with NAIA and D3 myself, you dont have to depend on the coach to get you on the roster. As far as D3 you can pretty much enroll at the school and tell them you would like to play football and they will let you on the team or at least try out. Its not hard to make a D3 team they will let almost anyone on the team. It definently doesnt hurt to have a coach help and I agree with you guys that they should do as much as they can to help every player possible.

That is a big misconception that people have. If you can play, college coaches will find you, doesnt matter what school your at. You have just as good a shot at playing at the next level at Newport as you do any other school in NKY. Schlarman was great at helping kids finding a place to play in college if they were good enough.

I doubt we have to worry bout that. Im sure he will get things started ASAP.:thumb:
