IF the Tigers can score 3 TD's and can pressure the passer at all, they should win fairly easily. St. Xavier (OH), with their win this past weekend over St. Ignatius (Cleveland) has all but locked up a playoff spot. It is not a guarantee, but a pretty solid bet. -CardinalsFan

Couldn't agree more oldguy. "The Pit" is an amazing place to watch a game. Believe it or not, Colerain has only played their once in our history. It is a series I would love to see us sign up for on a consistent basis. But I digress. I fully expect Highlands to win this game. Elder QB Jacob(?) Ramsey (yep, the Coach's son) is only a sophomore but has progressed nicely as the season has moved along. The offense still runs through the big RB Chris Schorr (sp?). I think the line play for the Bluebirds WILL be key and their secondary will be tested both in the passing game as well as in run support. Offensively, I think Highlands will mostly have their way. I don't get this Elder team is anything special defensively but even an average to above-average Elder team can be a real headache for any offense. Wish I could be there to see it. If you can get a ticket and go...DO SO! You won't regret it. -CardinalsFan

Wrong. Elder is not a good team. They have played two good teams (St. Ed and Moeller) and got spanked in both. Depending on matchups, they could be one and done come playoff time. Not to take away anything from Moeller, but I don't think they are as good as they were last year. We'll find out come playoff time but this is a game that Moeller absolutely should have won, no question. -CardinalsFan

Indeed! The Old Goats are good people and I am certainly happy for them. Been a while, I'm guessing, since the Crimsons started off 6-0. A guaranteed winning season and confidence for Dupont. Some of the details to back up ATLCat's comments. Their schedule and results so far: Schedule and results Current Harbin Rankings: Ohio Div IV, Region 14 (They are in the same region as Cincy teams McNicholas, Wyoming, Batavia, Indian Hill). While they are a Div IV team, they have played up to Div III 3 times and are 2-1 in those games. Their other two wins came against Div V teams (Rock Hill and Fairland). Their lone loss was to Athens which is undefeated and #1 in their region according to the Harbin points. Athens average game score is 52-15, so they are pretty good. Hope that helps a little. St. Xavier had the ball on the Moeller 2 yard line on 4th down in OT and...went for the TD! Why on Earth they didn't just kick a FG is beyond me. As a result, the pass was batted down and Moeller kicked the game winning FG on their only possession in OT. -CardinalsFan

The teams that were 10-0 that didn't make the playoffs were at a time when only 4 teams made the playoffs. I am pretty certain since they move to 8 teams up through last year there isn't a single team that has gone undefeated and did not make the playoffs. However, it has clearly happened historically. -CardinalsFan
