I love this team. They are one unit. And they play fast and hard. Jailen Reed is a punisher, that's probably my favorite part. He truly finishes every run as if it was his last....this "could" be a special year. We'll see....

I loved the Hooters Thursday night gatherings....huge fellowship opportunity...

He's 2/2 folks.....to run this offense, your quarterback has to be very heady, and athletic......then you have to get your skill guys to run at varying speeds, but explode north/south, when it arises.....they aren't there yet.

They are running a true spread offense now. Much like Oregon, extremely high tempo, trying to utilize the entire field.

St. X doesn't have the athletes to run their current offense, but they will someday.....regardless, they win this one big.... 31-7

If those lineman are going to Vandy and UK.....heck yeah.

I saw a very, very solid defense Friday, they looked very athletic, sharp, and focused. If they maintain that stance, 14 points will be enough to win almost any game.

BTW, Ensworth has some extremely classy fans and students.....I saw nothing out of line. The vuvuzelas are extremely annoying.

He threw great in practice all week. I say it was nerves....he didn't look comfortable early. The very promising thing, IMO, is that most of those incomplete passes were to wide open players.

I don't know what yo predict....but I know I was at practice this week, and it was extremely intense......they are laser focused. Doesn't mean anything....but it means they know they are 0-2 against them...

I'm of the mindset to just do it. If someone is footing the bill....you think that JCPS would pay the money to undo it. Ask for forgiveness.

Hearing an aberration...but we'll see. They had to hire a company to help with the last schedule.....if the return isn't enough...they may stick to this format short term.

If you knew the two people you were talking about, and their "closeness" to the situation, you may feel differently. You may not....doesn't really matter to me, much, either way.

I'd still be surprised to see him go..... But....a few things.... 1 - money isn't really a huge factor....his father passing and leaving him something like 1,600 acres of land, didn't hurt 2 - I believe his wife is still head of the history department at KCD, that's no joke either. 3 - I know his daughter has a great job here, not sure about son 4 - No grandbabies 5 - extended family, not a play right now. If he goes, I think it's to try and find a way to win another mythical national championship.....that would be huge for his legacy.

Steve Specht would be #1 on my short list....and keep Cove.

My gut says Specht will be on the short list. I would look for Cove to stay.
