Every team gets an allotment...as I'm sure you are aware...well, before the season even started, UK returned a large % of their allotment, because they said, they didn't sell. You can read into it, anyway you like, but it does sound like they had no confidence they'd win.

This win....goes straight to the forefront of people's minds...particularly in the game of recruiting....you see...kids aren't savvy enough to know down years, and up years....they know Notre Dame's mystique....and now they know the Cards won on hallowed grounds....the rest is fodder for conversation.

The immature child in me (and man...being a child was so long ago)....loves that the coach of my favorite team HATES their rival as much as the fan base does.... Does that guarantee victory? Nope....but it is a lock that the staff will spend every waking moment to ensure they put a plan forth to drop the hammer!!!!! ...and I love it #birdgang #L1C4

Our kicking game is suspect, this year, IMO.

Actually for the Friday games it was a huge nightmare, with Finals going on at U of L, the students park there.

Once the game starts, it all goes out the window....but it does help with preparation and over analyzing, etc.....pregame, you can be too hyped....

That would be very shocking to me....I hate how confident I feel in this one.....I truly feel that Bobby is going to throttle them.

Too early in the week for me to get my blood pressure about this one. I do know that these Meade kids know who is coming. I have no idea who will win, but mentally, at this point, I would say we have an advantage.

^ What scheme does Meade run? I think our biggest issue was the deep ball, is that something that Meade can exploit, or do they run it.... If they run, I like our chances, our front 7 are very formidable.

I have felt, all along that this was our best defense in a long time.....sometimes they looked the part.....we are at our best right now....but means nothing without the hardware.

This was the coldest game that I have ever been....was home from WKU, and was on the sidelines, it was brutally cold. Neither team could move a yard.......we got the ball late, backed up in our own territory.....Dennis Edge fumbled, X recovered.....we pushed them back, three straight plays...they kick a FG, it's over.

I have a crazy feeling, that ALL of Meade County will be there.......we'll be taking the tour buses, this will have a very prime time feeling.

I have to be honest....that was really brilliant by Coach Wolford.....they needed the ball twice, and they needed time. Might as well get the easier points, and then let the chips fall where they may....hats off to him, for a very savvy call.

As a softball team, from Louisville, with two African Americans on the team, our jaws hit the ground, when we pulled into the park......had never seen anything like it.

I understand that you are a Corbin fan....but...... I'd like to see how a Central fan saw all of the above.

I was following this one early...then lost complete interest because Corbin was up huge.....waking up this morning, I couldn't be more shocked to see this final score. Congrats Central.....

Tough game......couldn't get much going....X gave us the ball a couple of times early, and I thought we'd pull away.....such a solid X team... shame there had to be a loser. Is Meade a grass field?
