I agree. Their frosh have had great success in the past, but then add a few more players and an outstanding coach and you will have another successful season. Sean Maddy may be one of the finest freshman coaches in the area and he must be excited for the group of kids he has this year.

Congrats to Beechwood for advancing. I would like to applaud Coach Borchers and his staff in a year where nothing went their way. They did a lot with nothing at times. The best of luck to them.

Without their "Coach", they do not have the season they had. This thread needs to end b/c the has-been time at the podium has ended. Enjoy the AAU season!!

Dayton will beat Carroll without Brownfield and Wynn. JMO though. Good luck to the devils leading into the playoffs.

I don't think Newport will beat Newport Catholic if they played again. Nothing against Newport, but I think NCC will be a bit more prepared this time around.

Steve Sorrell is Cov Cath's coach.

He was in September, but I don't know. He has a couple young kids help him too. Great program.

Sean Rowland (sp?) at Conner. Boone has a new coach, don't remember his name. Usually coaches at these schools stay, but from time to time their work schedules change if they are not paraprofessionals.

Newport Junior High and the Newport Fire Fighters. I don't know what the percentage is of NFF players going to Newport, but it is designed for them to go to Newport High.

Great win for the Greendevils. Extremely hard fought game by both. Coach Eck & Coach Deaton have two of the hardest playing programs in NKY. Good luck to both the rest of the way.

I agree. Nothing but best wishes to Coach. I've nothing but amazing respect for this man since day one of high school. Unfortunately, I don't think we will ever see him coach in NKY again. Best of luck to the Lloyd players and staff as well.
