From what I can tell, CCH is going to have more size than guards.

HC will have lots of guards.

HHS should be good.

I saw some of the freshman summer league games played at Ryle in June. The most impressive team there was Boone County. They have a lot of very talented players led by Travis Montgomery, Trevan Brown, and Jordan Oppenheimer. They beat Ryle, Cov Cath, and Dixie by at least 20 points. I know some of the teams did not have all of their players there and they could have injuries and transfers, but Boone looked good in June.

Ryle will have another very talented group of Freshman again this year. I believe they were undefeated in their 8th grade league.

.

I heard its possible some of the 3/4/5 players could end up on JV.

Strong. We'll have to wait and see how they play as a group. Guard play will most likely determine how they do.

That's what I heard about HHS. Oops, I meant physical. Either way they will get it done.

Find this one tough to believe. This class as a whole in N Ky lacked quality big men. Who do you think is going to play at the JV level at one of the better programs in the region?

Pure speculation on my part. I'd guess more of a 3 than a 4 or 5.

I heard Dixie picked up some nice players from St. Henry, and Cov Cath's best incoming player this year also came from St. Henry grade school.

Also know for a fact that all these kids are football players, by not having football is it starting to cost St. Henry High School key athletes?

I'm sorry but HHS will need to find a big man if they want to compete. They have a very nice guard in Al Dean and some scrappy football kids like Austin Abner and Daniel Gold. If Dylan Harvey plays he will help them down low with the loss of the Gruenshlager 6'4 kid to the Hill. Ty Seidl is a nice compliment to Dean as well at the guard position.

I know that Dixie picked up one player from St. Henry. Boone County has the best incoming Freshman class. However, you never know with kids moving up at the Freshman level. There are always cases of players that play up all year (JV or Varsity) and then come back down for the tourney. What is the word on St. Henry getting a football program? I know that is has been discussed for a couple of years since the new building was built.

Is the B-ball team going to run into the same "problems" that the F-ball team has???

I am only assuming you mean what I think you mean and yes, it will be a problem but I am sure Matt Stephens (Coach) will live and die with the kids that will be there til the end and there are 5 or 6 that will pick up the slack if those issues arise.

NCC should be decent if they can get some guard play. Good size at 6'6", 6'4" and 6'4" posible starters.
