TWC / Spectrum upgraded most of the Louisville area, you can get up to 300 down, I have the 200 plan and usually get about 130-170 down and 17-24 up. I start working for the TWC call center next month and will get free service (phone/cable/ internet) and will get upgraded to the 300 plan.

Yes, how Hudl Sideline works is you record on an iOS device either iPad or iPhone. You can use that devices camera or have video streamed from your existing camera(s). Then it streams out from the recording device to other iOS device up to 8 viewing devices depending on your package. To hook to a tv you have to connect the iPad to a tv from a dongle, or stream via airplay to an attached Apple TV. At Fern Creek we got the premium kit, we use our existing endzone and Pressbox cameras, but hook up Teradek streaming kits to both that stream hdmi video streams to the recording iPad (my iPad Pro 9.7 inch) and then my iPad Pro streams out to the coaches iPads in the Pressbox and on sideline. We use 4 iPads to view, 2 in Pressbox for the two coaches on headsets, and 2 more on sideline. We sometimes used a 25" pc monitor and connected to one of the iPads via the vga adapter for ipad

This technology has been legal for a few years now at high school level, this was first year that it was legal in college. At Fern Creek we used Hudl Sideline, it was the first year Hudl offered it to public, had a limited beta in 2015 ( we applied were not selected). When it worked it was great, but it was buggy with connectivity issues and we had issues with the streaming kit from the endzone cam, had 3 go bad on us, but Hudl does ship you free replacement. Hudl Sideline is an add on to their normal service, While almost everyone uses Hudl ( our only opponent in last 4 years that doesn't is DeSales) not many have adopted Hudl Sideline yet. There are other companies with same or similar service, Edge Replay, Smart Video Replay, and Echo are a few.

Westport, Stuart, and Thomas Jefferson became middle schools, Ahrens closed and became office space, etc, Durret closed became adult education center, JCPS offices, then became Male later when Male relocated there.

The Rawlings money may go away, they stopped making football helmets, shoulder pads, and most other football accessories. Russell still makes uniforms etc

For Fern Creek, 3 sophomores come to mind. # 12 Osman Sall started at Free Safety most of the year. Had 68 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 6 breakups, and a fumble recovery. # 17 Isaiah Hester 5-11 190 got hurt early in the year and spent most of the year in a walking boot, he returned and dressed vs BG. Hester plays RB, QB, and even LB/DE. Not sure if he will compete for QB or will play RB on offense. This season he played RB and averaged 7.6 yes per carry. # 18 Rayshawn Nelson was our 2nd string QB, and with Bryant graduating looks to take over for FC. Not a big guy at 5-7 140, but is quick and tough with a strong arm. This year Bryant was a 3rd yr starter, Nelson got mop up duty, and also played WR, and returned punts.

. After the kneeldown a Lafayette player already thru the line is close to the white hat, and steps up and knocks his hat off by flipping it off his head by the brim. Didn't punch or shove him, very juvenile and disrespectful but not an assault charge or anything as serious as when refs actually have gotten hit.

Fern Creek had their 2nd straight Thanksgiving practice this morning. Just the usual Thursday walk thru. not many spectators a few dads watching, a couple former players. Then afterwards everyone went up to the cafeteria for a pot luck breakfast, had a lot more of the players families up there, as well as coaches families and more school staff.

I don't get the put down on Cov Cath, 9-4 is a good year for most anyone, especially a young team. They were down 7 points with 30 seconds left on the 7 yard line. Luckliy our defense held and FC won, but they were very close to tying the game or even going for 2 and the win. We knew going into the game this was going to be a hard fought game, and it lived up to it. It was a battle of 2 district champs slugging it out. When I posted last night that our players were mad about the poll here it wasn't that many picked us to lose, just that it was so lopsided towards Cov Cath on what on paper beforehand and in reality was a close game.

Thanks, our kids were pumped for this. Although they don't post on here several read it and were in disbelief at the poll here. Then they were really upset with Jason Frakes pick, not only having us lose but giving up 34 points. We have only allowed 30 or more points twice under Coach Abell in 3 seasons, this year in a win over Southern on a weird Thursday game were we played badly, and the other was in 2014 vs PRP the week of the shooting when we only practiced once that week. It was a great game and I was worried at the end, Cov Cath played well and it was a good clean game without many penalties with both teams paying it all out there. Kyree has been a beast all year on offense and the last 2 weeks he has went from playing less than half the defensive and has become the same beast on defense he was last year, leading in tackles last 2 games

Just heard today, there is also a basketball game (Fern Creek elementary) that will fill up some of the upper parking near the high school. The 8715 Ferndale Rd is correct address, is Fern Creek Park, plenty of parking, our rear gate that open to the park will be open as an admittance gate for anyone parking at the park. That is where they are recommending Cov Cath fans park as well as any late arrivals.

I would give address of 8815 Fern Dale Rd 40291. That is for Fern Creek Elementary. The field is just beyond the elementary school. Can enter there if early to park near field or in front of the elementary school. If that fills up enter at Fern Creek High 9115 Fern Creek Rd and there is a large student lot, as well as some smaller lots on each side of the school. Should be plenty of parking but late arrivals will have to park up near the high school and hike down past the elementary school to the field.

Doss can run and pass, they primarily run # 1, their QB is pretty good and has a primary receiver in #23, but #14 and others give him several options. Doss is 5-5 beating who you'd expect them too J-town, Iroquois, Atherton, Southern, Fairdale, and losing to PRP, Ballard, Fern Creek, and two close losses to South Oldham and Butler. This should be a good game.

In their 5th game his passing TD's were credited to the receivers and also to him under receiving. I would love to know who enters their stats and how they explain it.

That is weird has him with 4 rushing, 3 rec, 15 other (KORet, Punt ret, Int ret, Fum ret) and 4 2pt conversions. Looks like they are entering his passing TD as other ( only goes as scoring for receiver, they are currently crediting both receiver and passer, getting 12 pts per TD). Seems like the form would have picked up this error that you only scored 35 pts in your 2nd game but you listed 55 points in scoring. But the 3 passing TD counted twice and so did their one 2 pts conversion, (assuming a pass and credited to receiver and passer). That's nuts.

And never mind they updated it, now we have all 10 games included.

Figures the week I don't get stats up until about 11am on Thursday they get the update out before then, other weeks wait until Friday. I always wait until I get a chance to reviews stats on film (mostly tackles) before uploading to KHSAA.
