  1. Agree that it is different but you can’t patrol a couple of kids getting together to play catch it hit in a batting cage at their home.
  2. Winston just threw another pick 6 hearing this news.
  3. Athletes can "get together" in the summer dead period as well but not using school properties, equipment, etc, and no instruction from staff.
  4. For the ones that keep saying the numbers are low must not have studied or remembered studying exponential growth in school. Of course the numbers are low right now it is a new thread of the corona virus. It just started but if you don't do something to stunt the passing of the virus we will be in a huge J shaped graph of outbreaks that our hospitals will not be able to handle. We want "logistic" growth not "exponential".
  5. Agree, although upset at first, I quickly realized the severity of what could happen. 6. And that is why this should be taken seriously for ones that are older and for ones that have conditions already making their immune system weak.
  7. If it works you will have some say that it wasn't necessary because the numbers are low.
  8. The purpose of the dead period is to keep this from spreading. If the players go and play on their own whether it be sandlot it travel ball then we might as well be playing. We don’t want contact so by doing the others is not stopping that.
  9. I would have disagreed if I was on here last night. The KHSAA did make a stand.
  10. That is the same with a lot of viruses.
  11. Drink it. That will make you feel better.
  12. "Like many basketball parents around the world, Dwyane Wade isn't happy about his child's playing time. But the former NBA star has a major platform to express his frustration. On Tuesday's edition of "Inside the NBA" on TNT, the Miami Heat legend said he would not attend Saturday's state title game between Sierra Canyon and the winner of Thursday's matchup between Sheldon High School (Sacramento) and Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland) in California's open division." Frustrated Dwyane Wade skipping son's title game I would think he would want to be there to support his son no matter what role he plays on the team.
