Gamecocks by 13 unless Clark scores over 35+ and 10+ assists.  Clark can get her teammates the ball, but it's what they do with it after that.  A lot of turnovers tonight off of Clark completed passes near the basket.

So far in this tournament in Iowa's 5 games they have shot 106 FT's and their opponents have shot on 60. Iowa has made 21 more FT's (81) than the other 5 teams shot combined (60). In 3 of Iowa's 5 tournament games their opponents have made more FG's than Iowa. These things will have to happen on Sunday for Iowa to have a shot.

I do look for the game to be more evenly called on Sunday as the NCAA have achieved what they wanted for ratings to get Iowa to the finals. I think Caitlin Clark is the best pure lady's scorer and one of the best passers I have seen in women's basketball, but we say it all the times in the men's game unless it is blatant let the players decide the outcome.

That can all be style. Iowa attacks the basket and that draws fouls. Clark is going to draw fouls. Iowa plays zone defense a decent amount, which reduces fouls on them.

Agree with that.

Do you seriously think there is some grand conspiracy at play to ensure an Iowa win?

I for one never say, "unless it's blatant let the players decide it." They decide a game as much by not setting a proper screen or fouling a shooter at the buzzer as a shooter does taking a last second shot. If a play gets a whistle in the first 30 minutes, the same play deserves a whistle as the clock is winding down.

I don’t think there’s a massive conspiracy theory.  I do think that the NCAA DESPERATELY wanted Iowa to get to the final game, as did ESPN.

Agree wholeheartedly with the last sentence.

Of course they want Iowa and SC in the finals, just like they'd prefer Alabama v Ohio State in college football finals over Kentucky v Boise St. The big names bring the eyes to the games.

That comment from you surprised me.....but hey, that's your opinion and I respect it. I think Iowa attacks the rim and trys to up tempo the game leading to more FTs.

South Carolina is better as a team overall but I think Iowa wins due to having Caitlin Clark.

That is the dream ending for this old man.

I’ve loved watching the studio crew from the women’s tournament. Of course the powers that be ruined it by adding two other women in the Final Four, but the trio of Duncan, Carter, and Ogwumike are the best I’ve seen in a long time.

I hear you but now this intro before the game is way too long.  Let's play ball.
