Any truth to the Southwestern rumor? It seems hit and miss on any information. Just curious, that's a big 5A job.

This is a great hire for Danville football. Coach Stonebraker is an elite football coach. On Twitter this morning, Coach told Joe Mathis he would be keeping Jeremy Vaught and bringing up Coach Turner from Bate Middle. If you ask me, both of those hires are another success for Danville Football. My main question going forward would be who else is Coach Stonebraker going to bring on staff? This rebuild will require many hands on deck. And, with Coach Turner going to Danville High, who replaces him at Bate? I think both questions are crucial in the next few weeks to helping rebuild Danville Football.

If Danville chose between Coach Stonebraker, Preston, and Chirico, then there was no bad choice. Congratulations to whoever the Ads announce! I expect it will be Stonebraker shortly.

I remember the Mark Peach years. Competitive, won the Bob Allen Bowl both years vs local rivals, won a couple playoff games. Even then, people were talking. Now look at things.

Seems to be some speculation about this for a few years, but it's really been louder this time.

Steve Stonebraker would get a call from me before a few of these names. I also think he would answer.

Coach Gay is a good man. Very well respected by all. Henry Clay has fallen on some tough times, and will tough competition every week, it will be a process. I’m interested to see who takes a swing at this one.

Calico hits it here. I will say, Garrards style leads me to think they can keep the score down, which results in a competitive game. Also, NEVER count out a Jeff Hester coached defense. Will Garrard win? I doubt it. But it may be closer than people think.

I expect the Golden Lions to compete as well as anybody has against Central. I just don't think Garrard will have that caliber athlete to beat Central on the road.

Have to think Boyle isn’t really challenged until the semi’s.

Congratulations Garrard County! Spencer Crutchfield has done a phenomenal job at his school.

So, who’s on the shortlist of Danville candidates? No way Parks is back, although I do respect him and think he’s a fine man. Just time for a change.

East has been better this season, but the flame has fizzled out toward the end of the year. I think SW rolls actually. SW 40 EJ 16

Another disappointing year for the Colts.

Casey won't forfeit. The Rebels may be the youngest team in Central KY (actually, I'd say that they are) This was a major down year in Liberty, but things will go back up. With that being said, Central will score 50 and call it off.

Would think Danville is at the top of the list. Potentially West Jessamine, and maybe Henry Clay? Just seems like both of those programs have under-performed time and time again.

Have to think this is the last of the Parks tenure, but time will tell. Hope the Ads complete.

Henry Clay needs to evaluate the program. Results like this, year in and year out, can't be acceptable to a program with the resources that Clay has. Station, by as many as they want.

I hope Coach Jaggers gets everything taken care of with his health. In football terms, Shelby County was never going to be a region contender this season. This is a prime example of poor leadership from an administrative side. And who suffers the most? The student athletes. I'm not sure who will try and step up to the plate with Shelby County in 2025, but I hope they're aware of the mess the program is.
