Before the season began there were hopes that Danville (0-9) could win a few games and break a long losing streak.  However, those hopes have been dashed as the Ads haven't been competitive in any of their games.  East Jessamine beat the Ads 34-7 to start the season and ever since the team has struggled, only posting 26 points in total, the lowest in Class 2A.  Last week saw the winless Ads visit Breathitt County and smashed 50-0.  It was the fifth time that the Ads have been held scoreless this year and seventh time that they have been running clock'd.  The team's losing streak is at 20 games, unfathomable to many longtime fans.  Last week's game saw Danville decide to air the ball out more.  They gained more than 200 yards that way but it still did not lead to touchdowns.  But maybe the Ads have found something to use in their last two games?

Bardstown (6-3) hosts the Ads in a tune up for a home playoff game next week in 4A.  They are coming off their bye last week.  The Tigers ride a three-game win streak, going undefeated in October about Breckinridge County, John Hardin, and Nelson County.  They posted an average of 49 points in those three wins and are averaging 32.9 points for the year.  In their last win over Nelson County on October 18, Bardstown had quarterback Carson Riley throw for 2 touchdowns.  Sevyn Hamilton, Kenyin Calhoun, Javyn Montgomery, and Jayden Chancellor all added touchdowns on the ground.  Containing that offensive versatility will be a task for Danville's defense.

2nd & 22 - Nathan Doyle (fr.) tries to throw to Dismeaux but it goes over his head.

3rd & 22 - Bardstown flagged for offsides.

3rd & 17 - Doyle throws deep to Trinden Sellers (so.) but the ball is overthrown.

4th & 17 - Ads flagged for a sideline violation.

4th & 22 - Kaleb Wilcher (sr.) punts to the Ads 30.  Amonti Marshall (sr.) picks it off the ground on a bounce and runs it down the sideline and cuts back into the middle for a TOUCHDOWN.

1st & 10 - Bad snap but Dismeaux gets the ball, tackled for a 2 yard loss.

2nd & 12 - Marshall makes another big play for the Tigers, sacking Doyle for a 13 yard loss off a safety blitz.

3rd & 25 - Ads flagged for a delay of game but they are on their own 5 so they can't back up too much more.

1st & 10 - Doyle is knocked down on the first play after an incomplete pass, takes him a while to get up and he is carried away.  Elmore comes in as QB.

2nd & 10 - Elmore drops snap, causing a play for Sellers not to go through.  Elmore gets the ball but its a 4 yard loss.

3rd & 14 - Jutayvion Beasley (so.) rushes for a 10 yard gain.

4th & 4 - Elmore drops the snap, has nowhere to go and the Tigers, who are rushing, avalanche him.  TURNOVER ON DOWNS.  Tigers take the ball over at the Ads 30.

Tigers second drive

1st & 10 - Jaden Lamkin (jr.) comes in as QB for the Tigers, who have a false start called on them.

1st & 15 - Marshall now at QB.  FUMBLED snap and the Ads recover at their own 37.

Admirals fourth drive

1st & 10 - (3:08 left in 1Q) Bad snap again to Elmore and he is sacked for a 4 yard loss.

2nd & 14 - Ads flagged for a false start.

2nd & 19 - Ads flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct as they are in full meltdown mode tonight.  Flag appears to be by someone on the Ads coaching staff jawing with a ref.

2nd & 30 - Elmore throws to Beasley, who goes for no gain.

3rd & 30 - Carter now in at QB for Elmore.  Ball at Ads 17.  Toss to Sellers, who runs for 3 yards.

4th & 27 - Bad snap again but Wilcher is able to punt it to the Ads 49.  Marshall gets it handed to him and goes for a TOUCHDOWN.  However, flags litter the field for a facemask on Marshall so the ball comes back.

2nd & 10 - Ball on Tigers 41.  Kenyin Calhoun (sr.) runs for 13 yards into Ads territory.  FIRST DOWN.

1st & 15 - Marshall breaks a run for 14 yards but he is tackled with a horse collar by Sellers, so more yards will be added to the end of the run.  FIRST DOWN.
