The Casey County Rebels enter this matchup riding a two-game winning streak, their first back-to-back wins since 2023. Casey County is now 2-3 on the season after victories over Jackson County, 44-6, and Clinton County, 60-34. Their three losses came against Adair County, McCreary Central, and Fleming County.

Garrard County enters the game still searching for its first win of the season. The Golden Lions are 0-4, with losses to Madison Southern (7-35), Estill County (26-35), Middlesboro (7-28), and Bethlehem (0-8). Garrard's most recent loss to Bethlehem came Friday night.

The Golden Lions have also had an unusual stretch over the past two weeks, with a bye week followed by a weather-related cancellation, leaving them with very little game action heading into this matchup.

Casey County comes in with the momentum, while Garrard County returns home hungry for its first victory.

Can the Rebels keep their winning streak alive, or can the Golden Lions finally break through and pick up their first win of the season? Thoughts?
