Boyle comes into this one after a 55-6 win over Russell County which saw their QB Baylor Murphy go 12/12 for 191 and 4 TDs. He's a first year starter and is one of the few QBs in the state with 1000+ yards and 0 INTs. Demauriah Brown had 2 rushes for 110 yards and 2 scores. Montavin Quisenberry had 5 catches, 88 yards, and 3 TDs. The clock ran early in the second quarter. 

Lincoln comes into this one looking to stop the bleeding. After a 4-0 start, they are now losers of 3 straight, but more importantly two of those three were district games. Being in a five team district, Lincoln is looking for a district win to ensure they make the playoffs. RB Kash Smith leads the way for the Patriots as he's ran for 737 and 10 TDs in the Patriots 7 games this season. 

Who do we have in this one? 

I think Lincoln makes the playoffs because I like them to beat Taylor.  But they will have to beat Taylor because they will not contend in this one. 

Lincoln just happens to be the next team on the tracks when the train comes through.

I disagree.  I think Lincoln will be the odd man out.

You may be right.  They are very similar teams.  The game is at Taylor.  Might be the difference.

Assuming Boyle beats Lincoln and Wayne the next two weeks, that would mean Lincoln has to beat Taylor to get to 1-3 in the district (Taylor would then also be 1-3). If Wayne beats Russell, then Lincoln would be the 4-seed. If Russell beat Wayne, then there would be a 3-way tie between Lincoln, Wayne, and Taylor which would go to the RPI, where Lincoln is currently the odd man out but that would possibly change if all of the above happened.

Combined records of the 4 teams that Lincoln has beat: 6-22. (Garrard County is 5-2)

In 8 games spanning the last 23 years the least amount of points Boyle has scored is 41.  The most Lincoln has scored in those same 8 games is 12.  There was a time when this was a good game.  It will not be tonight.  If Coach Haddix subs as early as he has been lately, I think we'll see a 47-0 game.

I think subs come in early but Lincoln put some points on the board. 42-17

I thought Lincoln co. represented themselves pretty well.  Obviously outclasses and talented, but defensively had some moments.  It would be nice to see this game get competitive with it being a border game.
